"Mornin' love." Chuuya said softly, with a smile so bright that it temporarily blinded the young tiger. "Morning Chuuya-san." He yawned right back, as he stretched out and sent a glance towards the clock beside his bed, only to almost scream.

"Oh shit, it's almost one PM!" He all but whispered, as he got up, before he got dragged back down onto the bed, which made him blink in surprise.

"Lay back down and relax. We have you off for today. Me and you can laze around the entire day." The redhead sighed, making him relax but still anxiously chew on his lip.

"We are so close to the mission though….wouldn't it be irresponsible to take time off right now?" He couldn't help but ask as he turned, getting a lazy hum in turn.

"I took a day off because my favourite french restaurant opened in Yokohama too." The executive yawned. "And Dazai took a day off because he wanted to hook up on the day of our and ADA's supposed signed allyship." Dazai wasn't that surprising, since the man was kind of childish and selfish sometimes, but Chuuya? That was surprising. Him taking a day off for any reason, let alone because of a dumb one at that.

"Besides, a birdie told me you took this real serious. I'm not doubting you nor your team." That made him curious. Who out of the people who knew him at the company would let Chuuya know of his achievements? Tachihara perhaps? "I know you fuckers are gonna commit to the mission and give it your hundred." The belief in him and the trust made him flush and smile shyly, as he stared at his partner.

"Yeah, I just did my part. Stuck at the office, I put time into research and stuff. Although, I'm sure if the research fell upon any of the other members they'd do just as much, if not more." He shrugged, laying his head back down onto the pillow and letting one of his hands trail to the red locks of hair.

"Take the compliment, tiger. You deserve praise. That research was no joke." The executive bumped his nose with his pointer, as he scooted up a bit, clearly sore from Atsushi laying atop his arm for more than half of the night.

"The bag of bandages was right when he said we need to shower you with compliments. You're too humble for my liking." Oh. So Dazai wasn't joking about that. He not only made a plan but also told Chuuya to play a part in it. He couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of the two making a whole mission out of making sure he felt at least a bit more confident in both his looks and skills.

The tiger yawned and scooted up too, cracking his neck, before the smell of coffee hit his sensitive nose.

He looked at the source and saw the elixir of gods themselves on his night table, taking the half cold cup and bringing it to his tired lips.

"Told the fucker he made it too early, but he wanted to be the one to prepare your coffee before he went to work." The redhead rolled his eyes fondly, making him chuckle as he gulped the liquid down.

"It's still pretty good. Dazai-san always knows how to make it just right." Atsushi chuckled back, as he took another sip. And it was true. He hated bitter coffee. He also hated coffee with too much sugar. He couldn't drink just coffee. He needed some kind of aroma and a lot of milk if he wanted to enjoy it a hundred percent.

"Yup. Honestly I always force him to make some coffee for me too, whenever I get the chance." Chuuya chuckled, as he took a  sip of his coffee too, clearly still tired yet unable to go back to sleep. "He's whipped for you so you don't even have to tell him, let alone make him do it. Lucky little shit." The faux annoyance got betrayed by the small little grin that he sported on his face.

"Not like I don't get it, I'm also whipped." The redhead smirked as he looked at the tiger and passed him a macaron, clearly made by Chuuya, because of the cute little tiger design. "You snagged yourself a cook and a coffee machine." The boy couldn't help but laugh at that, as he took a small nibble out of the sweet dessert, before he took a second to consider just how lucky he was.

Chuuya was not only an amazing cook, but also a great partner who always put safety, consent and comfortability on top of his list.

And Dazai, Dazai was not only a great coffee maker, but also one of the sweetest people once you got under the menacing front. He always made sure to try and make Atsushi feel better, always made sure he had everything he needed and took care of his every possible wish.

"Yeah, it's like I've been blessed." He couldn't help but smile, getting a shy little flush in turn. " God you don't have to say it so awestruck. We've also been blessed." The redhead mumbled, making him arch his brow. He wasn't rich enough to shower them with things. He also wasn't the greatest cook either, best he could do is ramen and maybe unburnt eggs . And his coffee skills surely weren't even half as good as Dazai's.

"Don't give me that look. You're adorable, funny, charming, romantic and you always make sure we're both included in whatever we do." That's what anyone with a brain and some love for their partners would do, the tiger wanted to say, but he took the compliment, knowing that the redhead was nowhere near done with compliments. "You text me all the time, and even now I bet you're thinking about texting the useless fuck to not forget to grab lunch." The boy flushed almost furiously as he looked over to his phone in shame.

He was doing that.

"You think about us, and care for us the best you can." Gloved fingertips ran across his cheek and made him look towards the affectionate man in his bed. "Not only that but you do these little things, like, sending us cute little emails to make sure we've grabbed a bite, or the time you organised the entire paperwork of our faction to make my job easier."

The boy felt his face grow even hotter as all that he's done continued on being mentioned, feeling like another praise might make him combust into flames.

"Like it or not you're fucking amazing."

That was all he allowed the man to say before kissing him to shut him up, even if just for a second.

The man froze, stunned, before he returned the kiss more than just enthusiastically, taking his breath and thoughts away.

"I get it, so…please stop. I'm getting too embarrassed." The tiger muttered between them, breath still hot and heavy, as heavy as the string of saliva between them.

"Fine. You've bought my silence. But just for an hour. After that, I'm afraid you'll have to pay another fee." The redhead grinned, making him roll his eyes fondly.

Perhaps he was a semi-good partner, he supposed.
