The training went as well as one would expect. With them getting their ass handed to them.

But, they did manage to do the unthinkable. Him and Akutagawa landed an attack against Chuuya.

Since they were coming at him both at once and both at full strength while the man held back, it really wasn't that big of an achievement to some, but to him, it felt like he landed on the moon.

The thing was, his power was extremely unstable. He couldn't use more than around thirty percent of the tiger's strength without getting taken over by the beast within himself.

He had to compensate for his lack of control with quick smooth movements and endurance. So the fact that they managed to put a scratch on the Chuuya Nakahara was impressive to him.

He tried to go for raw strength only, but it didn't go his way, as per usual. And where that failed, Akutagawa came in.

He could see that the man mostly wanted to prove himself to Chuuya, to try and get a good word in for himself, but it also felt great to see their forced teamwork pay off.

They tried a new technique, with Ryūnosuke's ability. Akutagawa wrapped Rashomon around Atsushi and gave him a sort of a…buff, in a way. Armour, that is.

Even though he hated to say it, it worked like a charm. It gave him the needed push in the battle, and although they could work more on their communication, they could potentially make this their go-to trick, technique, whatever, in case they find themselves in a really bad situation.

And as he finally saw the clock hit six, he headed to Dazai's office.

As soon as he walked in, he was greeted by Dazai's gleeful expression and the smell of wine. Oddly enough, he hasn't smelled whiskey around Dazai as much.

"Hello there, Atsushi-kun!" The man giggled cheerfully, as he motioned over to the chair in front of him, Chuuya looming behind the brunet like a guard dog. They were supposedly one of the best teams the PM ever had , according to his findings, which did come as a surprise due to how they behaved around each other, yet also weirdly made sense.

"Heard you landed a blow at our little bean sprout," He chuckled, before getting smacked by the man across the back of his head.

" Meanie. " He whimpered, as he pouted and leaned back into his chair, with the tiger heading over to the seat in front of his boss and sitting down formally.

"Anyways. To get to the point of your current progress, you didn't start off too well." The brunet sighed, making him drop his head down. "You've lost us a valuable asset and member." He still felt like he hadn't exactly made a wrong call with Kyouka persay, but he did feel like he disappointed his superiors.

" But. "

That but made him perk up, and look at his employers with a curious expression, waiting for further analysis of his work so far.

"You also made our alliance with the ADA a bit stronger and showed great development." Chuuya spoke up, clearly proud of his current progress.

"Even saved Yokohama! Truly a remarkable achievement, 'Sushi-kun." Dazai carried on, smiling to himself. It wasn't like he saved Yokohama persay, but he did help.

"The way you selflessly crashed the Moby Dick while being inside it and even saved your coworker from drowning!" The praise made him flush and look away, tucking a strand of silvery hair behind his ear. He never knew how to take compliments, or even people just acknowledging his achievements. So of course he felt kind of awkward about it.

"I think the two of you were the ones to actually save Yokohama, but…thank you. I hope to continue improving and doing my best for this company." The tiger smiled bashfully, looking back at his employers and partners, Chuuya's eyes making him almost look away again.

They were so…happy. Proud. And that made him really feel oddly warm, it wasn't like he hated the feeling. But it just felt…weird. To be looked at in such a way. For maybe the first time in his life.

"Take credit. You were the one to against all odds, take the head of the company on and even ended up winning. " The brunet deadpanned, as he reached out from across the desk and trailed his bottom lip with his thumb.

"Dazai-san…we shouldn't be doing something like this while we're working." The boy mumbled under his breath, drawing a chuckle out of his partner. "Oh, my. I didn't even do anything. I'm just caressing my employee's face, what's so wrong with that ?" The brunet purred, making him feel…. odd, in a way.

"Do you…do this with other employees too?" The two toned eyes shined possessively as he leaned closer, drawing a sigh out of those chapped lips.

"Is someone...jealous?" His boss hummed curiously. Jealousy. Huh, that was a new emotion. And Atsushi for one, did not like it. "So… do you?" He asked again, leaning even closer.

"Well mayb-ouch!" The brunet got smacked again, this time harder than before, making him face plant against his desk.

"No, no he does not. He used to hate people touching him so much to the point where he'd tell them that the bandages on him were from highly contagious pox." Chuuya sighed from behind him, sending a glare to the already whimpering man.

He sighed in relief and leaned back against his seat, looking between the two.

"I'm…I'm glad." He couldn't help but feel comforted by the confirmation. It wasn't like he wanted them to avoid friendships and other social connections, but he did , however, want them to only give those soft and gentle touches to him .

He knew that he was being selfish. Irrational too, maybe. But, he couldn't help it. It was both the instinct deep within himself, primal, perhaps the side effect of the tiger, but , it was also his abandonment issues.

He was so used to people leaving him to the point where once he got attention and affection, he wanted to savour it all. Wanted it to be for him and him only, afraid that if the people giving him the attention were to share it to others they'd be stolen from him or leave him for a better option.

Yet he shoved those feelings down and focused on the fact that these two cared for him and that these two were the same people who comforted him the entire last night while he sobbed like a mess

"Can we go back home now?" Atsushi asked softly, with Dazai's pupils blowing out as the words left his mouth. The man's eyes were indeed the most expressive thing about him, one that expressed real emotions, the boy noted, in his head.

He could be acting mad, sad or even uncaring, yet the way those brown eyes moved and stared told Atsushi all he needed to know.

"Yeah. We can." He said, gently, as he reached out and ruffled the silvery locks of hair, messed them up beyond recognition.

Chuuya immediately ordered a car for them, on his phone, as he clicked off Dazai's computer for him and fixed up his coat, making Atsushi smile as he stared at the two.

He was glad that they took care of each other. He was also glad that he got to be a part of their dynamic.

"Can we um…cuddle, today too?" The tiger found himself asking as he got up and fixed his collar, getting an odd look from Chuuya in turn.

"If you for a second thought you'd get out of a cuddle session after work, you're dead wrong tiger. We'll cuddle the shit out of you." The redhead grinned, making a small little smile spread across his face.

"Yeah. Plus! Tonight, you get to pick the show we'll watch, since Chibi-kun and I never seem to come to an agreement." The brunet chirped, as he got up and stretched, cracking noises coming out of the tall lanky body. He did wonder how Dazai managed to sit behind a computer the entire day and not go insane. But, then again…the man might be a bit insane after all, with his behaviour and all.

He still couldn't help the emotions towards the both of them, even with their intense personalities.
