Not Blind
At least not yet
It's just dark
As is within

Many a times
I'd wish for the moon
A lone star or planet even
Instead of such monotonous gloom

Till the dawn cracks through
The night weighs down
Those thoughts that grip like a vice
The never ending downward spiral
I've found stars in people
At times a more constant planet
Yet uncertainty prevails
Until the discovery of a moon

Some planets have many moons
And some have none
Someone who will brighten the night
And make it bearable as day

They needn't fade or erase
But just in case
They'll be the ones to ease
There constantly even in the dark

Until the moon
Or an army of srars and planets
There will I remain, in the night
For the sun comes esch day

With which comes a mask
One that hides the dark
One that will let none in
Nor yourself out

In the end it's you versus your night.
