Keeping sight of one dream
In the midst of raging torrent
Reining all focus on distant glow
Unwavering in damnp and cold
The petrichor intoxicates too
Her glasses going misty too
In sight; she presses on harder
Kept planning this breakthrough
As now she collapses, smiling
Just some sun in the eye here
Of being surrounded, unafraid
Her body feeling lighter
Now we wait for the pain to pass
