Cracked glass or spider web
It can be whatever you want
But don't you wonder
How many times people say
This is this and never otherwise?
Has anyone told you you aren't worth
Just because you aren't some "this"
You never wanted to, but hearing
You slowly tried to fill those cracks
Though you know it's not foolproof
You buried your quirks
Not an enhancement by slight touch
But downright dissipating
What you are and should stand for
What others can't even understand
You are beyond shallow minds
Minds that build those walls
Crashing all those glass barriers
The splinters will sure stick on some
Who will refute the change
Yet it is much more necessary
It's an evil that exists
Some things are uniquely you
Some things you can't change
Yet some feel genes are like jeans
There are infinite aspects
Some worth honing
Some refined by etiquette
And those some that scream you
No one else can replicate
Someone might be your height
You might share the same hobbies
You might even be dopplegangers
Even twins aren't exactly each other
No two are superimposable
But that's not saying you're alone
You have an overlapping venn
For each of your quirks
To varying degrees
Together each venn against each wall
No matter how much they push us
As if into a tine box
It's made of glass and we can see
What their shallow mindset fails to
We will shatter the glass
Glasses are cracking worldwide
Pitches are not lowering
My throat is parched
That's not how I will give into anything
Let's crack another glass wall
Imperfections exis only because
One decided their ideal was perfect
Found some others in his venn
Thought it was huge enough
And the others just followed
It's okay to get lost
It's okay to swim against the current
It's okay to be stuck somewhere
Where you never wanted
But people still think it's the heights
No one is expected to be perfect
Yet at the same time those walls
They push you to perfection
Let's push back till they crack
I will always have your back
