Shattering the fragile heart
Ripping the frail young soul
Torturing the wailing body
I stand out amongst everyone
Not just a corpse amongst else
Replace - Nevermind on my chest
Abandoning living a zombie - strut
Wounds wrapped like a mummy
Fake perfection all gone overnight
Scars don't leave, but pretty now
It's time to let the wheels spin
First touch like lightning
Heartlessly torturing myself more
Forward alone, I alone, all alone
Till this electrocution stops
Alas I end up weary now - few
Pushes later bleak with no clause
I will apologise to my being
This torture for my mind to heal
Picking up my tattered soul
No, you've made up your mind
You're too proud to apologise
Child that held your hand you lost
To your ego them you've lost
No apology, now seeking mercy
You being at falt, I avoid thine eye
The victim now walking the plank
Time and time again tripping
Now found my own footing
I stand, was drowning, is dripping
Not the gasoline not the flames
Neither refuse to take a lick
Not one jaw chomps down
Right where your belt left its mark
Wires like a frivolous snake
Hissing with manmade prowess
Each shimmering bolt to caress
Electricity moves not one strand
Now, in my healing I'll take pride.
Now I will look you in the eye.
Now will you make sure you know
You did me wrong yet I took a fall
It was cold, I couldn't breathe
I'd never even learnt to swim
But there I found myself
I was in the current, the territory
Electric currents ever rage havoc
Yet I'm finally immune
Scars just stars to guide at night
Even when the dark veils all eyes
In this touch I take pride.
