In my tears, letting my hair down
Chilled to the bone and quivering
In negativity, clearly overpowering
My fluffy blanket and every ounce
Of her warmth, I refuse to bounce
Silently I slink into a corner
Rationality locked in a drawer

Drop right to my knees when
There's no need to at all
Sometimes instead of the one
Who'd bumped me from behind
If the clouds arent too dense
Unnecessarily annoying, I can tell
But sometimes it's slick like oil
No piercing sun, my judgement
Then there goes my sight
It's all inconsolable and incessant
