Luna and Derek were chasing Scott in the parking garage without being seen. When Scott had set off the car alarms and hid behind a car. Just when Scott thought he was safe his phone had begun to ring.
Scott had tried to silence it when Derek grabbed him and slammed him on top of the car with Luna beside him.
Soon enough Derek had let Scott go and he and Luna started walking off with Scott following them. "What, what was that" Scott asked. "Isn't it obvious Derek was teaching you" Luna said.
"I didn't say when" Derek added. "You scared the crap out of me both of you" Scott said and looked at Luna.
"Why did you help anyways" Scott asked. "When Derek asks for help, I help plus its nice having an adult to talk to oh and another thing it was fun" Luna said.
"Okay but I was fast right" Scott asked. "Not fast enough" Derek said. "But, but; the car alarm thing that was smart right" Scott asked. "Till your phone rang" Derek said.
"Yeah, but that was I mean" Scott said. "Would you just stop" Scott asked and both Luna and Derek faced Scott.
"Look I am what I am because of birth you were bitten teaching someone who was bitten takes time I don't even know if I can teach you" Derek said. "What do I have to do" Scott asked.
"Stay away from distractions duh" Luna said. "You see this" Derek asked grabbing Scott's phone showing a missed call from Allison.
"Of course, it's a girl" Luna said. "This is why I caught you, you want me to teach you or even Luna, get rid of her" Derek said. "What just because of her family" Scott asked and Derek threw the phone.
"Darn I was going to set it on fire" Luna said. "Why are you so mean" Scott asked.
"I'm your student" Scott said. "Okay so I'm supposed to change my entire personality cause of that, good one" Luna said.
"You, getting angry" Derek asked Scott. "Thats your first lesson you want to learn how to control this how to shift you do it through anger by tapping into a primal animal rage and you can't do that with her around" Derek said.
"Well, that's kind of stupid" Luna said and Derek looked at her. "What you want me to lie" Luna asked and Derek looked back at Scott.
"I can get angry" Scott said. "Not angry enough this is the only way that I can teach you" Derek said. "Now can you stay away from her" Derek asked.
"At least until after the full moon" Derek said. "If that's what it takes" Scott said.
"Do you want to live do you want to protect your friends yes or no" Derek asked. "Yes, if you can teach me, I can stay away from her" Scott said. "Yeah okay" Luna said not believing him leaving with Derek following her.

After Scott had a run in with the alpha from Allison's he had rushed home to his bedroom closing the door behind him.
He hadn't realized Derek was in the room till he turned around jumping slightly.
"You seriously need to stop doing that" Scott said. "Luna didn't come" Scott asked. "She and Lydia went out for dinner for some family bonding thing" Derek said.
