After Luna took Lydia home, she went up to Lydia's room with her. "You okay" Luna asked. "It has been an eventful day" Luna said. "Yeah, I'm fine" Lydia said and sat on her bed.
"You sure" Luna asked her. "Yeah, I'm sure" Lydia said. "Okay" Luna said about to leave. "Luna" Lydia said, and Luna faced her.
"Yeah" Luna said. "What was up with Derek, Erica, and Boyd" Lydia asked.
"It's nothing you need to worry about" Luna said. "Nothing to worry about" Lydia said. "You're kidding right" Lydia asked.
"Look it's nothing you should be involved in it's my problem not yours I want you to live your life without worrying about this I'll take care of it like I always do I don't want you involved in this okay you deserve a normal happy life or as normal as this family gets" Luna said making Lydia laugh.
"You don't have to protect me all the time I can handle it" Lydia said.
"Yes, I do I'm the older cousin okay and I don't want you involved in this I got it handled okay" Luna said. "Okay fine" Lydia said. "Get some rest" Luna said and Lydia left.

Luna went over to the train station where Derek was in hiding. "Derek" Luna said. "Derek are you here" Luna asked. "Hello" Luna said.
Derek made his appearance known and saw Luna and gulped making his way to her.
"Okay look I know you may kill me after going after Lydia" Derek said. "Kill you I'm going to strangle you" Luna said. "Luna I'm sorry" Derek said. "Not yet but you're gonna be" Luna said.
"Luna, please, please I am sorry please don't use your magic on me I seen what you've done to Peter, and I know your capable of worse please" Derek said.
"You better be lucky" Luna said and Derek let out a breath of relief.
"I am sorry" Derek said. "You better be but make no mistake" Luna said and made her way closer to Derek. "If you go after my cousin again, I'll be your worst nightmare" Luna said.
"Got it" Derek said and Luna gave a fake smile before leaving.

Luna was in her classroom grading some papers when she got a text from Derek seeing if she was up for a movie night.
Luna quickly responded and she looked at the picture of her and Derek that laid on her desk.
Luna couldn't help but think about the day she found out what her destiny the day her mom told her about her curse. The day she learned she and Derek were connected as well.
Flashback
Luna was heading over to the Hales when she saw Talia and a little boy playing. She walked up to Talia and Talia noticed her and smiled.
"Hey Luna" Talia said. "Hey who's the kid" Luna asked seeing the boy.
"That's Derek" Talia said and Luna looked at him. Luna felt her hands tingle and she knew what that meant as it had only happened once before.
Present
Derek was her second connection and although Luna and Derek never got close in the past, she knew all he had to do was call and she'll be there for she would be there for him no matter what even at distance even if he never knew she was there she be there no matter what.
"Don't worry Laura, I'll keep him safe no matter what no matter the cost I'll always keep him safe" Luna said to herself.
Luna looked at the picture of her and Derek once more. "No matter the cost" Luna said again.
