Luna was at home taking a sick day when there was a knock on her door. Luna got up to answer the door and saw Derek. "Derek, please come in" Luna said and went back to sit down.
Derek walked in and closed the door behind him. "Why aren't you at the school" Derek asked taking a seat next to Luna. "I'm taking a sick day" Luna said.
"You look fine to me" Derek said. "I just needed a day off okay" Luna said and Derek nodded. "Can we talk about it" Derek asked. "Talk about what" Luna asked.
"Your destiny, the possibility of you dying" Derek said and Luna sighed:

"Derek there's nothing to talk about you know that" Luna said. "So, you're just going to be okay with dying" Derek said.
"Of course, I'm not okay with it" Luna said. "I mean who would be" Luna asked. "But there's nothing we can do to stop it" Luna said.
"What if Scott's boss your friend" Derek started to ask. "Deaton has been looking for years there nothing" Luna said. Luna saw how worried Derek was and sighed.
"Look this had been a curse on the Martinez's for centuries if there was a way out of it, we'd know by now I'm sure of it" Luna said. "I just don't want to see you die I don't want to lose my best friend" Derek said. "You may not have a choice" Luna said.

"What about Lydia" Derek asked. "I know how close you two are" Derek said. "I want to keep Lydia out of the supernatural as much as possible" Luna said.
"She deserves to know" Derek said. "Not this" Luna said. "I mean it Derek if she ever finds out about the supernatural do not tell her about my curse" Luna said. "Okay but I still think she should know" Derek said.
"No, I'm not going to put her through that it's bad enough you know" Luna said. "You sure there's no way out of it" Derek asked. "Positive" Luna said, and Derek sighed.

"Have you had any other signs" Derek asked. "No but I know it's getting close" Luna said. "How close" Derek asked. "We still have time at least for now" Luna said.
"How do you know it's getting close" Derek asked. "I can feel it" Luna said.
I'm still gonna keep trying to find a way to save you from this" Derek said and Luna smiled. "If you don't succeed" Luna said.
"Would you do me a favor" Luna asked. "Of course," Derek said.
"Look out for Lydia she's the most important to me and she will need someone like you so please look out for her if I die" Luna said with tears in her eyes. "I will I promise" Derek said and Luna smiled.
