Sage Emily Harrison was born on the 1st of august at 10.02pm, her birth was quick and I merely made it there by the skin of my teeth, it's like something in the world shifted when she was born something in my world and gazing into her sage green eyes I knew then and there it was her name.
Sage, Luna's mothers name the higher power from above that has been watching over us since day one, keeping both her little girl and her granddaughter safe from the heavens, I never believed in such a place until I met Luna and then I knew only an Angel herself could give birth to something so pure.
I couldn't think of a better name for the shelter then the sage shelter, because like my own daughter I would protect those poor unfortunate children with my life. We now have two locations one in Doncaster that has helped over a hundred children rehabilitate as well as the newest Sage shelter here in LA that opened last week.
I'm currently sat on a patch of dewy grass in my back garden as the mid morning sun heats my skin, I watch over the lawn as my two favourite girls dance and play with bubbles, Luna is dancing around in a sun dress followed by a mini version of her but with dark brown wavy hair and light green eyes.
Sage is the perfect mixture of us both, and it's fair to say we make the most beautiful children, Oli calls sage peaches after the teddy bear he got Luna almost two years ago, that same tiny bear is now tatty and dirty tucked under my daughters arm as she treasures it daily.
Emily joins them popping bubbles, I'm sat besides Adam and Ol as we watch our little family fondly, if you're going through hell keep going because you never know when life will bless you, like it did with me.
" what's it's like? Being a father? " Ol nudges me out of my day dream, I glance at him and then to Emily she turns to face us hand on her bump as she waves over.
" the most rewarding, magical feeling in the world. There's no love like it " I smile.

I'm emotional the last chapter was to wrap things up and show you a peak into their future, it's happy and bright and all things they all deserve.
I fell in love with their story and I hope you did too.
