As Klaus attempted to convince Five to go somewhere with him because they were retired and 'thats what retired people do', Lena picked at her little bowl of fruit while staring curiously at the empty lobster tank beside the buffet, just within earshot of the two.She was trying to figure out if her previous state of exhaustion the day before had been the cause of her imagining the lobsters, or if they had actually been there. And she was trying to figure out if she had seen the large red creatures recently or if the exhaustion was still writhe in her system.
She was sure they had been there not five minutes ago, but now they weren't there, and her subconcious was telling her she was going mad.
She wasn't entirely sure and watched the empty, lit up tank suspiciously, biting into a chunk of pineapple as she did.
It wasn't until Five paused next to her did she convince herself she wasn't crazy.
"There's no lobsters." He stated, tilting his head slightly.
She hummed around her mouthful of fruit, still staring at it.
"What?" Klaus glanced between them strangely.
Five blinked. "There were three lobsters in this tank a minute ago."
Klaus waved a dismissive hand. "Yeah, well, you know, maybe Chet blended 'em into a morning smoothie."
Lena scrunched her nose up, tearing her gaze away.
Five did the same but with a reluctant, growing smile forming on his face. He shook his head at his brother. "You're an idiot, but I'm in."
He cheered and threw his hands in the air. "Whoo!"
"What have I agreed to by association?" Lena asked Five.
Klaus wrapped his arms around the two of them, giving each a one armed hug. "We're going on a road trip, sissy!"
"Oh," she mused, thinking about it, while Five batted Klauses arm away from him and adjusted his shirt. She paused, glancing down at her lazy clothing and put her bowl of fruit down. "Cool. But I need to change first."
"You look fine."
"Fine?" She repeated, placing a hand on her hip while Klaus grinned and refused to let go of her, arm lastly slung over her shoulders.
He nearly rolled his eyes. "You look lovely. You always do."
"You have to say that, you're mi esposo."
He did roll his eyes this time, but with a growing smile on his face. "Okay, fine. You want to steal some clothes with me?"
She grinned back, ducking out under Klauses hold. "I would love to."
Klaus told them not to take forever before they blinked away, and to her credit, they only took half an hour to compile some new clothes to wear. (Five had to drag her away. She could have spent hours looking at clothes.)
