Chapter 22 Best Laid Plans

Ryker POV

I nod to the pack members I pass and head down to the basement and the secure room. No-one seems to notice E and our mate.  Once in the secure room.  E stops cloaking them and we greet pop.  "Good Ethan, you are getting the hang of it. Because of safety reasons.  Your dad and I have decided it would be best for Ethan to fly him and Griffin, to Vegas following our plane.  That way we won't have to worry to much about Griffin not having his official documentation.  We are going to tell the pack. That you are driving there with some other pack" pop explains.

"I don't like the idea of us travelling separately?" I state  "I know its not ideal, but its only for the 3 hour flight" pop says.

"Soren will help keep Griffin safe in the air. But it will be all down to you, when we get to Vegas to keep him cloaked and hidden" pop continues.  He then moves closer to us "I also think that if Griffin can be there hidden while we greet the other alphas.  He might be able to get a read on them.  It would be a great help.  But I haven't told this to your father yet" he says.

"I will do all I can, to help out" Fin nods. "Fin thought he might be able to wipe certain memories. Then we wouldn't have to take care of them in a more permanent way" I tell pop. "Good idea, but some people will never change. There are going to be those that have set their mind to a certain actions and its going to be hard to stop them from that path" pop says.

Fin smiles and nods. E then goes to one side of the large room to practise with pop and I help Fin work on wiping out certain memories or thoughts.  We decide the best way to do that.   Is for us to think of a certain thing or action and then for Fin to see if he can make me forget it.  It takes his a few attempts to go in without me detecting him.  But we decide that is because we are mates. Others wouldn't be as sensitive to it as me.

"You won't be able to practise flying again.  Are you going to be alright?" I ask him. "I knew yesterday that I'd be able to fly.  I'll be fine" he insists.  I look at the time, "pop we haven't packed yet. What time does dad want to leave?" I ask

"In about an hour, eat, as there won't be much on the plane.  We've instructed they take out some of the kitchen area and add more seating.  Your father is taking some of the warriors with us.  As well as some taking a commercial flight to join us later" pop answers.

"Okay, I'll stop by the kitchen, you take Fin up to our suite.  See you in a bit, pop" I say opening the door to the secure room.  I don't leave, until I let Fin and E out, after he's cloaked them.  I get 5 subs from the kitchen and take them up to our room.

"But I don't want to wear jeans.  They are stiff and tight.  I want to wear my dresses" I hear Fin arguing with E.  I go to the laundry room and take the washing out the machine and place it in the dryer to dry.  Before I walk into our bedroom and into the closet.  Fin is sitting on the floor next to the open suitcase with his arms crossed over his chest.

"I've put his other dresses in the dryer. He can take some of our jogging bottoms to wear as they are not tight fitting" I reason with them. "Sky bought pants that looked lose" Fin says smiling. E sighs "fine, we'll take the jogging pants and the pants Sky bought you.  As well as your dresses. But it would be best to wear some joggers for the trip as it will be cold" he says.

I pack my things and change into dark blue jeans and a dark blue shirt.  E has changed into stone washed jeans and I long sleeve t-shirt. "I'm going to need you to come to the clearing and take my clothes.  Then meet me somewhere close to the air strip in Vegas so I can get dressed" he tells me.

"Why, no-one will be able to see us? I'd be happy seeing you naked" Fin grins. E rolls his eyes and I nod agreeing to follow them to the clearing. There is a knock at our door "its me boys" dad links. I go and let him in.
