Chapter 49 Date

Griffin POV

"What do you think they'll do to wake him up today?" E asks.  Kieryn loves thinking of new ways to wake Ry up.  Kai just goes along, as it makes Kieryn happy.  "No idea.  Want me to start making a pot of coffee?" I ask E smiles and nods his head.

"I'm going to busy to day, if I want to finish early and get ready for our date.  Coffee is going to be a must" he says.  "I'm going to search more about greenhouses.  You can grow all manner of things in a greenhouse.  I'm even thinking of planting some fruit trees around the pack house too.  If I set aside a little bit of the garden for the young ones, they can grow things in it and take care of it.  I think it will help them appreciate things more" I say thinking about what I need to do today.

"That is a great idea. Wouldn't it be nice to planet a tree if and when our little one is born and they can grow up together?" E suggests.  I like the sound of that idea and nod.  We hear Kieryn and Kai giggling and know they've started to wake Ry up.

A few minutes late we hear them clapping.  "He's awake, great timing the food is about ready" E says.  I lay the table and then pour two cups of coffee for my mates.  I hate the stuff.  1. Its black 2. Tastes bitter 3. It stinks, I shudder as I check we have everything we'll need on the table.  Ry walks down carrying Kieryn and Kai.  He kisses me, then puts the boys in their booster seats at the table.  He hugs and kisses E, before carrying two plates for the boys, and putting it down in front of them.

"Thank you for the coffee, Fin" he says picking up his cup and taking a sip.  A couple more of the pack join us for breakfast.  I really do love my life now.  I smile as I eat good food and watch as everyone talks and interacts with each other.

I've had a very good productive day.  We ordered some fruit trees.  I talked to the pack members looking after the younger ones and we decided, how best for them to teach them about growing things and decided what they can planet.  I've more or less thought of all I'd like to try growing in the new greenhouse.   Just have to wait its arrival and to build it.  

Now I'm running a bath, it smells wonderful with the salts I put in it.  I've cleansed and cleaned my face and it does help make my face glow as Sky said it would.  I have a good soak in the bath, wash and condition my hair.

I get out use the conditioning cream Sky gave me for my skin.  I go back into our room taking my suit from the wardrobe with the shirt and some clean underwear.  I then hear Ry greeting E.

I decide to change in Kieryn and Kai's room wanting to surprise my mates.  I get dressed checking, I've put everything on correctly.  When I look in mirror I smile.  I look good enough, to be gobbled up.  I see my bare feet and sigh, I always forget shoes.

Kieryn and Kai come in and I twirl in front of them.  They clap making me feel good.  I watch as they get onto the bed and Kieryn gets out his tablet.  I ruffle their hair and kiss their heads before leaving them and going back to our room. 

"What do you want us to do, never leave the pack?" I hear Ethan ask Ryker. "Of course not, I'm just not mentally prepared" Ryker answers.

I walk into the room and they both turn, to look at me.  As they both freeze and their eyes flow over me.  It makes me very pleased, and reassures me, that I've made the right decision. "You look handsome, Fin" they both say together.  I turn around and then bow making them laugh. "Don't let any other person get too close to you. Fin and I would have a hard time not ripping them to shreds" Ry warns,

"I will be with my handsome mates they won't dare get to close" I reply winking.  They both laugh, while I look through the shoes and decide on which pair would go best to wear with my suit.  I sit and put them on.
