Chapter 41 F#$*&%!!!!!

Ryker POV

"Can't you remember how scared you were? He is still young, Fin" I answer.

"He is not sharing our bed too" he says pouting.  "Kieryn seems attached to him.  So, we'll move some bunk beds into the spare room and they can try sleeping there" I say.  This seems to make him happy as he leans up and kisses my cheek.  "Glad you're back in one piece, we missed you" E says taking my hand and giving it a squeeze.

"Yeah, me too" I agree "E, Fin, this is Akio, Ryoko and Koroko.  The one under my shirt I don't know if he has a name yet" I introduce them.  The three bow their heads "Ethan and Griffin my mates" I add.

We start to walk to the pack house, pop has already gone in.  When we enter, our parents are locked in a tight hug, cleaning each others tonsil's.  The members of the pack in the main room welcome me back, but look a little uncertain about the others.  "Dad, pop, I'll take them up to our suite for now" I say heading towards the stairs.

"We need to have a talk.  I'll be over in an hour, no make that two" dad says glancing at pop.  I wave and head up the stairs.  With everyone else following.  Once inside, I go to the couch and sit.  "Please sit" I say indicating the others should sit too. Ethan grabs drinks and brings them to us.  Fin offers the cookie jar around and then sits next to me, with the cookie jar in his lap.

"Ryker, we've gotten a rough number of the ones now heading this way.  It's over a hundred" E tells me.  I'm shocked to hear how many have been rescued.  "The pack aren't going to want to let them all join our pack, are they?" I question.

He shakes his head no.  "Dad introduced Fin to the pack.  They have accepted him as he is our mate.  We've mentioned Kieryn.  But haven't gone into too much detail.  I think dad is now thinking of you and me making and leading a pack of the rescued shifters" E informs me.

"Some of the females don't like me.  But that has nothing to do with me and everything to do with the fact, that my mates are so handsome" Fin adds. "Doesn't matter if they like you or not. We love you" I say kissing his forehead.

Fin blinks at the tree new comers "they are thinking in an odd language" he says.   I look towards them and smile "they're Japanese" I state.  As I look into Akio's eyes, I feel a connection.  Not like the mating one.  I have with Ethan or Fin.  It's like the one I have with the other pack members. "Akio?" I ask through my link.  He looks shocked and looks back at me.   He says something in Japanese. But the really odd thing is, that I can understand it????

I look to the others and again feel a connection. "E, do you feel a connection too?" I ask him. He looks between us and then really looks at Akio. "How can I hear what he's thinking? I can't understand him.  But I feel or sense what he means, its odd" he answers.

"I can understand him! I couldn't when he spoke on the plane?" I add.  "It's your connection.  You have the ability to connect to all shifters" Fin states ever so confidently.  I look at him then E. "Are we ready to look after a pack?" I question.  He shrugs  his shoulders, "I didn't think we were ready to be parents, but seems like we are!" he states.  This makes me blink and I glance inside my shirt and see Kieryn sleeping with the new one.

"Right ask for a bunk bed to be brought up to our suite and three mattresses'. We'll make up beds for everyone.  Kieryn and his new friend, in the smaller spare bedroom and the other three can go in the other one.  I know the boxes, will have to be moved from there and the room cleaned" I say to E.  He nods and starts to link the people he needs too.

"Ryker, glad your home safe. But I need you to come and see me.  When you can" Micky links. "Okay, I have my hands full at the moment.  But will come as soon as I can" I reply.

"Are you hungry?" I ask "yes always" Fin answers.  I chuckle as I had been asking the others.

"Could we please have some food brought up to our suite. Enough for 8, thanks" I link the kitchen. "Be about 20 minutes" I'm answered. "Okay, come on. We can start to empty the other room" E says standing up.

"Akio, would you be able to help him?" I ask he nods and stands up.  The other two look at me, "you can help too, it you can" I add.  They also stand-up and follow E and Fin.  I get up and go into our room.  I sit on the bed and take my shirt off, with some difficulty as Kieryn and his new friend are also holding it.  I lay them on the bed and cover them with the shirt.

I go into the bathroom and have a shower and shave.  Once I'm dressed again.  I check on Kieryn but he looks deep in sleep now.  "E, Micky asked me to go see her. Kieryn and his new buddy on the bed, I'll see you in a bit" I link, then leave the apartment.

I jog on over to Micky's place and knock before entering. "Micky" I call and then head down to the basement. "Hi"  she replies looking worried though.  I pull up a seat and wait for her to speak.  "I've found, well I'd best just show you" she says turning to her bank of monitors.

"I found some co-ordinates and typed them into the laptop you gave me.  Then after I saw what it showed.  I hacked into some city surveillance cameras.  I was lucky to record this" she says pulling up a video file and pressing play.

In a large warehouse somewhere in an industrial park.  I van pulls up and honks his horn.  The large rolling doors pull up and the truck drives in.  But Micky pauses the video and then enlarges the picture.  What I can see is what looks like clear sacks hung up on racks. But coming from each sack is tubes.  I blink and Micky presses play again.  The Truck drives in more and turns, so the inside of the warehouse can be seen.  She then presses pause again.  Enlarging the picture of what looks like a computer screen.  Only it looks like a grid of monitors, like the ones you see in hospitals.  She moves the focus on the screen onto a sack that can be seen a little clearer and presses play again.  The sack moves and you can clearly see a small foot push against the clear sack.  I freeze while my brain works on the fact that, it's not just a few sacks we can see but a whole warehouse full of them.

"Where is this?" I ask "New Mexico" she answers. "But this actual industrial estate, belongs to the military. But it's listed as food storage units." 

I get up and start pacing, thinking about what this means.

"They look as though they are getting ready to abandon it.  Or at least move it" Large refrigerator trucks have been arriving in the last 30 minutes" she tells me.

"Right send me the location.  Pop, Dad, I need you to come over to ours now!" I link running from Micky's house.  "Sky I need you to come and babysit Kieryn and a few others" I tell her. "E, Fin meeting" I add as I run into the pack house and up the stairs.

I run into our apartment and see our folk's door open as I do.  "E, they have a whole warehouse full of incubating children, shifters, I have no fucking idea.  But we need to get there now!" I say pacing.  I know our parents heard me too as they come in and close the door.

"I have to save as many as we can.  Micky seems to think they are going to start moving them soon" I explain.  "How can you look after a warehouse full of incubators?" Dad asks "they have them hung up like bags or sacks" I say. "You can't save them all, Ryker" pop says walking to me and hugging me.

"I have to try and save the ones I can.  I can't, the thought of them being locked in cages. Forced to do God knows what!" I cry.

"I know, I know son" pop says rubbing my back.  "Where are they?" Dad asks "New Mexico" I answer. "Right get going, are you going with them?" Dad asks pop.  He nods "okay be careful go" he says.  We nod hugging him.  I turn to Akio and he nods having understood.  We leave through the deck door and run to the clearing.  Pop and E, strip. Fin and I pick-up their clothes and then wait for them to shift.  "Fin, you get on Soren, I'll get on Conall" I tell him.  Once we are up in the air, I get the co-ordinates from Micky.

Soren and Conall fly as quickly as they can towards New Mexico.  Thankfully its not that far from us about 300 miles.  We've been flying for about 30  minutes. When I hear Micky "shit Ryker, the refrigerator vans or for samples they look as though they are cutting power to the factory!"
