Chapter 53 A Real Home

Ethan POV

We look at each other and then get of the bed. Pushing our feet into the shoes beside our bed. "Are you not going to change?" Sky asks.  We look at her and shake our heads no.  "We will shower and change once we are home" Ry tells her.

We each pick up a child and follow Sky out to her car?  "What is this? Were has your little ports car gone?" I ask her. "Hey, I'm an Aunty to 5 children. Pop bought us all one.  Yours are parked at the pack.  Special seat belts have been installed to attach the baby's car seats too.  This is the safest way to travel.  Pop spent a lot of time finding out which vehicle is the safest for children. It can seat 7 in the back and pops made them change your front seats to a bench seat. This way you can all travel in the front still" Sky explains.

"Pop is the best" I say as she presses her key fob and the back sliding door starts sliding open. We buckle each child into their car seats and Ry climbs in so Fin and I get in the front, with Sky. "You'll be so surprised seeing the pack. They've all missed you, but also tried really hard not to disappoint you" Sky informs us.

It doesn't take long for us to arrive and surprised is right.  We now have a finished pack house. There are cute little sign posts pointing the way to different parts of the pack.  Like veggie garden, greenhouse, pack house and pack offices.  Which look as though they are in the original house. The members all cheer and clap seeing us.

We wave and smile back, but Sky keeps driving, its not until I see the direction, she is taking us that I realise its to our house.  I turn back and smile at Ry.  We talked about getting our house so much and now its here.  I feel his and my excitement grow.  Then we clear the short tree lined road and turn onto the driveway of our new home.

Fin now gets excited too, seeing it completed.  Sky parks in front of the double garage and gets out.  We follow and help take the babies from Ry.   Once he is out, we walk towards the front door.  The garden in front is surrounded by a small brick wall.  With flower beds edging the lawn. A willow tree has been planted near the far-left corner of the garden.   I look at the house.  There is another double garage a little taller that the first one.  Each have windows on the first floor above the rolling doors.

They are attached to the side of the house which has 2 large windows either side of the front door.   Then another row of windows on the first floor, then a few more windows on the second floor. "Everything has been done to Ry's specifications. We followed your colour scheme as well. Grandma and Pop were very impressed that you'd managed to capture all your tastes into it" Sky says as she unlocks the door and then gives the keys to Ry.  "I have my own set" she tells him smiling.

I feel Ry getting nervous, as he worries if we'll like it.  We step in and the hall curves into a circle with a stairs case going up around each side to the first floor.  The walls are a warm cream with the wood work natural and polished.  Giving it a warm inviting feel.  There is a small table either side of the hall, with flowers on them.  There are doors under the staircase. "Small downstairs toilet, cloak room and closet" Ry says pointing to them.

But I am looking through the open glass doors to the room beyond the hall.  We walk forward, through the glass doors and my heart literally jumps for joy.  It's a large room, taking up all the back space of the house.  To the right is an open plan kitchen, with dark blue cabinets and wooden handles.  With brushed metal appliances.  The lighting under the cabinets shows off the granite work tops and wall tiles.  There is a large central work unit.  That is also a breakfast bar.  It has a sink at either end of it.  Then my eyes move to the dinning area.  This has a large butcher table that has 12 beautiful wooden seats around it with dark blue seat cushions.  The windows to the right of both spaces are large and you can look out to the back garden easily enough.
