Chapter 42 F#$*&%!!!! Pt 2

Ryker POV

Soren and Conall seem to have heard her too and fly even quicker.  "There, over at your 11 O'clock" I cry pointing.  There are three large refrigerator vans and a number of people seem to be scurrying around.  "Torch the vans" I cry as I leap from Conall's back and onto the roof of the warehouse.  I run to a skylight and then jump through it.  I can smell gasoline now.  They plan to torch the warehouse.  As I land on the floor.  I hear in my head a number of voices crying for help.

I run and feel myself getting drawn towards the back of the warehouse.  The bags all seem to be hung in ages the older the fetus are in the bags, the further back, they are in the warehouse.  I grab a large mobile type bag carrier.   I see that the ones in the bags here look about ready to be born or whatever you want to call it.  It is them, I can hear crying as though for help. I start to take them down from the hooks and hang them on the portable carrier.   I can tell some haven't made it but take all the ones I can.

I then rush out the back open door.  I see a small truck.  With the words food store on it.   I run to the back of it and yank the door open.  Fin comes running out with a few more sacks.  "Soren and Conall are taking care of the workers" he tells me.

We get all the sacks and the carrier into the truck.  There must be keys for this somewhere?" I ask.  "They always, left the keys in the tire archers" Fin tells me.  I jump out the back and look under the tyre arch of the driver's side and see a metal magnet box.  I pull it off and find it has a code lock.  Not having the time to mess about.  I let a claw cut into the thin metal tin.  I take out the keys.  The warehouse is now starting to smoke.  I run back in, but don't hear other voices. 

I send a prayer up for all those that aren't going to see the light of day and then start to close the doors.  That is when I see a small office in the corner.  I sprint over to it.   Find a man in a white coat, cowering in the corner.  He is holding a bag close to his chest.  I see a number of computer systems all with their hard drives ripped out of them.

I grab the bag off the man.  Then punch him in the face, before searching him.  Crushing his phone, I drag him out to the now burning warehouse.  I pick him up and attach his white coat to one of the hooks hanging from a beam.

"No, you can't, please, don't leave me here to burn!" he cries.  I watch as he struggles to undo the buttons on his lab coat.  But the fabric is pulled tight with his weight hanging on it.  E rushes in see's the man and blows on the man's feet and legs.  His clothes start burning.  E pulls me out and close's the door.  He then cloaks me and the van, before he shifts back into Soren.

Soren roars out fire and the warehouse is engulfed in fire. "I'm sorry, little one's the people who did this will pay" Soren says before taking to the skies.  I jump into the truck where Fin is waiting in the passenger seat.  He doesn't look happy either.  "If it helps, I couldn't hear anymore crying for help" I tell him.  He nods and wipes a tear from his cheek.  I start the truck and drive along the back of the other warehouses.  Before turning into the ally way leading to the main road.

"Micky, I need you, to destroy all footage of our arriving and leaving" I link her. "Yep, already done, but I only saw you goming in?" she questions. "We can't let them see us in any of the city traffic cams either" I say. "I'm working on that, but I think the easiest way is to kill all power to that area" she says. "Go for it, thanks Micky" I reply.

"Ryker, I need you to brace yourselves" pop links. "Fin seat belt" I say as I also put mine on. Then there is the sound of cutting and bending metal as we are lift from the road.  I cut the engine.

"I'm taking you to one of our storage facilities.  It's empty at the moment as I had thought we were going to knock it all down and build some houses on it for the pack.  Its land, that borders the southeast part of our territory.  We now think, it will be the ideal place for you to house the new pack members.  It will become a sub-division that you well run with your brother and Griffin" pop explains
