Chapter 51 Special Suprises

Ethan POV

We catch Fin as he passes out.  Ry picks him up and runs from the room and to another, putting him on the bed. Then Ry and I, fall to the floor beside the bed. Pop and Dad come in, then leave and push in another bed. They place it as close to the bed Fin is on and help us onto it. "He was going at it for over 8 hours. Do you know what he's done?" Dad asks

"Can we have something to drink, we are both feeling a little light headed" I ask "sorry, yes of course" pop says and leaves the room.  Haley comes in and puts Fin on a drip. Then places us on one too. "You have all, saved our children from dealing with a horrible new age.  I can't thank you enough" she says emotional.

"Haley Fin might be pregnant!" I say remembering.  I take Ry's hand and then put my hand on Fin too.

"Okay, he's fine.  He's just exhausted.  So are you both, please try and rest" Haley says. "I'll check on Griffin.  I'll draw some blood and see if he is pregnant or not.  It might be to early" she assures us.

I turn into Ry's shoulder my emotions all over the place.  "He's amazing Ry" I sob.  "Shh, E, come on.  Rest, we'll have to be at full power again to take care of our mate" Ry says emotional himself.  Pop comes back into the room carrying energy drinks and bottled water.

We sip a little and then we both let ourselves sleep.

I wake-up feeling much better.  I open my eyes and find that we've been moved to a bigger bed. Fin is in the middle of us, Ry and I beside him. "Ry, Ry" I croak.  My throat feeling very dry. Ry wakes up just as groggily as me.  We both check on Fin.  Then Haley comes running in "Alphas they're awake" she yells.

Which is so unlike her.  "How are you feeling?" she asks taking our reading from the machine. That is when we realise that we are hocked up to a heart monitor and blood pressure machine. "How long were we asleep for?" Ry croaks

"Sleep, more like coma!" Haley answers as the door bangs open and our parents along with Sky and grandma Lucy come in. "Thank goodness, you scared us all" pop says.  They hug us, finding it hard to let go.  Telling us that is has been hard on them all.

Haley, passes us some cups of water.  "Sip, just a few sips" she tells us.  Grandma Lucy and Sky hug us. "How long have we been out for?" I ask.

"Well, when you both fell asleep, we thought everything was okay.  But then, all three of you started to convulse.  Once Haley had managed to stabilise you all.  She told us that all three of you were in a coma.  It took us 2 months to even start to feel your animals.  But that gave us hope that you were all on the mend.  

Sky was the one that told us you'd be waking soon.  But you've all been out for," "Dads" Kieryn and Kai walk in with Ryoku. They climb onto the bed and hug us.

"Sorry, were you worried?" I ask Kieryn.  He looks like he wants to deny that fact.  But his eyes fill with tears and he hugs me tightly around the neck.  Kai is hugging Ry.  "Sorry, we are okay now" Ry comforts them.  "I thought I'd be bringing up our brothers" Kieryn says.

Ry and I look at each other, then Fin. When we look up at our parents.  Haley walks in with a small bundle. "Congratulations, you have" she says and then Jed walks in with another two bundles. "Identical twins and another son who is part of the triplet but not identical.  I've never come across this before.  But when we opened up Griffin, there were two birth sacks.  One with the twins and the other with this little fella" she tells us.

They pass Ry and I the babies. Kieryn and Kai stroke their cheeks.  I look at Ry and then our three babies.  The one I'm holding opens his eyes and we both gasp.  "Lavender?" we say together. The other two open up their eyes and they are a deep blue.  "I'm not sure what type of shifters they'll be.  But they are all healthy" Haley informs us. 

"Congratulations, Ryoku and Akio have been looking after the pack" Jed says as he and Haley leave.

"How long have we been out for?" Ry asks "Just over 4 months.  Haley couldn't take blood from Fin.  Apparently, he didn't like it.  The only needles she was able to give him were for the drips to feed him and keep him hydrated.  We knew he was pregnant when his stomach started to grow and it grew huge" dad tells us.   We look down at Fin.  He looks fine, as though he was just sleeping.

"He's fine, Sky was the one that talked whoever was protecting him, that we needed to do the C section and that is was for everyone's own good" pop reassures us.  "He will wake up soon too" Sky adds.  I look down at our children again.  "This all seems a little unreal.  If feels like just yesterday we were helping Fin" I stop and look at our parents.

"Yes, things have changed a lot in the last 4 months.  Griffin took out and killed over 226 shifters as well as 26 top human officials, from all around the world.  Seems like one of the men had a number of missiles at his command and Griffin used him to strike at the people heading the experiment projects as well as another large DNA bank that has been totally destroyed.  Pop and I have been asked to head the new council.  The governments from 7 major countries have been onto us and also asked that we sit down for talks as they do not want to fight with us.  Griffin has made the whole world afraid of what we can really do.  They don't know it was Griffin.  They just found all the people dead in their homes, cars, beds, desks some where even out socialising. The reports all say, that they witnessed the person's eyes roll back in their head and then they looked like they were having a seizure, before dropping dead.  The one thing they had in common was a top secrete project called 'Evolution'," dad informs us.

I look at Ry and then Fin. "He's going to be pissed, he missed the whole pregnancy thing" I say. Ry chuckles "I think he'll be pleased that he didn't' have to worry about anyone stealing his food" he jokes.

I yawn and the little one in my arms yawns too.  I smile as his eyes close and he falls asleep again. "Oh, they've all fallen asleep" Ry says.  "Yes, the falling to sleep part is cute, them all poohing and demanding food part, not so much" Sky sighs.

"You and Ryker use to wake at similar times, but these three, honestly it takes a little getting use too.  Keats has made a bottle feeder that can feed all three them propped up on the sofa or bed.  It allows the one looking after them to get the other things ready.  But its best if your just quick at changing their nappies" pop tells us.

"You look ready to sleep again, rest and I mean just rest.   You are to wake-up again in a few hours" pop says going to take the baby.  "Well have their cot moved in here.  Don't worry" dad adds.   I kiss our sons and watch Ry do the same.
