Chapter 62 Our Pack Our Family

Ethan POV

4 years later

"Why the hell am I so nervous?" I ask Fin and Ry they look at me and sigh.  "I don't know but you are putting me on edge.  We are welcoming Kieryn and Kai back as fully registered doctors.  As the new doctors for the pack.  Our J triplets are going to be going to university to study their degrees.  It's hard to believe they are already nearly 18 years old.  Kieryn and Kai are 23. Our youngest are already 12 years old.  But everyone is fit and well and doing great. What are you worried about?" Fin asks

"I have no idea. I'm getting some kids back, but having to say bye to others.  Is it wrong to want all my family together?" I ask.  Ry walks over and hugs me "of course not, I think we should be grateful that the boys want to study more.  I'm not so sure the L triplets will want to go on to university" he says patting my back.

"Boss Ry, E and Fin, Kieryn and Kai just past through the front gate. They have a big trailer attached to their truck" we are linked.  We all leave the house and go to the centre of the pack. Kieryn parks his truck beside the medical centre.  We walk over as they get out.  "Dads" they call.

I can't tell you how happy, I am to have them home. How happy we all our.  Their residency was hell as we went through a pandemic.  But Kai went to work for one of the Hubs pharmaceutical companies and was able to help reproduce the vaccine to help fight against it.

It was hard on us all, but it would have been really hard on them being mates and not being able to be together. But they did it for the pack. The pandemic really hit the packs hard. Thankfully Kai was able to identify the cells it was attacking more within the pack community and they found a vaccine to help stop it.

I blink seeing how thin Kieryn has gotten.  Ry squeezes my hand "they are home" he reminds me feeling my concern.  "No more of that crappy canteen food for you. I'm going to tell the kitchen they are to watch you eat every meal" Fin says hugging Kieryn to him.  "He'll gain weight now we are back, we missed you all so much" Kai says as he hugs my and Ry.  "I'm good, I just over worked a little.  Now I'm home with everyone I love" Kieryn says hugging us.

"You didn't tell us you'd also caught the virus?" Fin says after hugging him.  "I'm all better now. I didn't want to worry you" Kieryn says smiling.  I look at Kai and he nods his head "he's healthy again" he tells me.  But I notice it's taken it's toll on Kai too. "Yes, your home now.  We have a surprise for you" I say smiling at them.

I can tell they now feel my excitement as well as my nervous. "Close your eyes, hold on to Ry" Fin says Kieryn and Kai close their eyes and take a hold of Ry's arms.  The pack smiles and keeps quiet as we lead them to where we have their surprise.  We walk behind the pack house and then down a new track road into the tree line.  We walk about 200 yards in and then stop.

Ry got the idea to build them their own home during the lock down. He has built this for them himself with some of the pack helping out, but he has done 75% of the work himself.  "You can open your eyes" Ry says.  Kieryn and Kai open their eyes.  I grin seeing how shocked and touched they are.

"Oh Kie, look up there in the tree.  It looks like our old cave bed" Kai exclaims excitedly.  Kieryn turns to Ry "you did this" he says with tears in his eyes.  "You've always gotten us Dad" he says before hugging him tight.  Kai hugs him too.

We are all blinking back tears now.  "It's just a simple log cabin, I had to use mostly what we had at hand.  But as I went on ideas came that I thought you would like.  It's not far from us, but will give you your own space and privacy" Ry explains.  He pats them on the back "come on let's show you inside it is really simple inside, but there is room if you need add on more rooms" Ry tells them.
