Chapter 36 Gift Found

Ryker POV

I wake-up when I feel Kieryn move.  "Want the bathroom?" I ask.  He nods and I get up out of bed and take him to the toilet and wash him.  Before getting him dressed and taking him to the kitchen.  I go through the fridge. "Meat and eggs" I say.  I start taking some meat from the fridge. Kieryn, is sitting on a stool and watching me.  "I can, make you up some formula.  I wonder if you still need that though?" I question myself.

"Haley, what can you give kids of around 3, to drink that will help them grow properly?" I link her. "Milk, is good.  A little juice but not too much and water.  You can always warm up the water and put a little honey in it.  That is really good, but you should only do it now and then" she answers.

"Thank you, congratulations on your little pup.  Looking forward to meeting him" I say ending the link.

"How about you try some milk?" I ask Kieryn. I take a sippy cup, from the cupboard and realise that Sky is great.  She must have come in and put some stuff away for us.  I pour some milk and then wonder if I should warm it a little as its very cold.  I decide to warm it a little in the microwave.  Then put it in front of Kieryn.  I demonstrate how he drinks it and he copies me. His eyes widen tasting the milk.  Then his slurps become stronger as he decides he likes it.  This makes me laugh, I cook breakfast knowing that the smell, will wake up the other two.  It's not long before I hear Fin getting up, he walks into the kitchen and strokes Kieryn's head.

"Why is he so happy?" he asks "he's just had his first drink of milk" I answer.  Fin grins "it's nice isn't it" he says going to the fridge and taking out the milk for himself.  He starts to drink it straight from the carton. "Fin, use a glass.  Other people have to drink it too" I complain.

He sighs and takes out a glass.  I hear E getting up.  "Set the table, breakfast will be ready in five" I say.  Fin sets the table and take's Kieryn sitting him on the chair with a booster sit.  Kieryn smacks his hands on the table happily.

"Morning, someone is happy" E says rubbing Kieryn's head and then kissing Fin on his head.  He hugs me before going to the coffee machine.  He makes us both a coffee, while I put the breakfast, on plates.

We all sit down and start to eat.  "I will have to go and check on the pack.  Then I'll check in with Micky.  I think dad is going to want to hold a meeting and discus how we are going to move forward.  Are you going to be alright here, E?" I ask.

"Yes, I can do some work on the accounts up here.  I'll ask pop for some games that can help Kieryn learn more.  But he is really smart anyway.  Not everyone, even our age can complete a rubric cube" E says.  I nod my thanks.  "I'm stuffed" Fin says leaning back in his chair.  "Stuffed" Kieryn copies and even leans back in his chair patting his stomach.

I chuckle "good, now we have to clean-up" I say getting up. "We will clean up Ry, you go and do what you need to do" E offers.  I kiss him, then Fin and the Kieryn before leaving and going to check the work in the office to do.  I work there for a couple of hours.

Then go see Micky, she doesn't throw anything at my head for disturbing her.  Which I take as a good sign.  "My god, I could kiss you!" she exclaims as I walk in further to her room.  "This is a fucking gold mine" she links looking towards the door.

"I'm running a number of attacks. For a top government, they seem to believe they are immune to attacks or maybe they think someone wouldn't dare attack them.  Anyway, I've managed to find a number of key points of interest.  Give me another day and I think I'll be handing you the fucking keys to the kingdom" she says, all the while her fingers are flying over the keyboard.
