Chapter 10 Griffin (R)

Ryker POV

"Our pop, has a female wolf.  It was she who got pregnant with us.  But Ethan was technically hatched as he is a dragon shifter really.  It is a bit complicated and we will explain everything to you.  But I think we should concentrate first on finding the people who hurt you. Then of course E and I have to finish school.  Which also brings up how we are going to get you papers?" I say as my brain starts to go a mile a minute.

"I can use your knowledge.  Why would I need papers?" Fin asks as I step from the shower and wrap a towel around my hips.  "You two aren't the same.  You have three brown dots on your back.  Ethan only has two. Plus, your eye colours are different.  Yours are darker.  Your ears are more circular, where his ears are more angular" Fin tells me.

"True, we aren't really identical, it's just most people can't see the differences" I agree taking his hand and pulling him from the bathroom counter top. "I need to get dressed" I tell him as we head to our walk-in closet.  As I look at what to wear and then smile as Griffin hands me a pair of boxes.  Once dressed, I take his hand again "are you ready?" I ask him.  He moves closer to my side and hugs my arm as his hand tightens in mine.  He then looks at me and gives a small nod.

"One thing you'll learn is that, when we find our mate or in our case mates. The pack and our family are always happy for us. They will protect you as one of their own" I try and assure him. He puts his head on the top of my arm and closes his eyes as he inhales and then lets it out slowly.  He then opens his eyes and gives me a little smile.

We walk out and into the sitting room.  Where my parents sit talking quietly with E.  Dad, pop, meet our mate, Griffin" I introduce.  "Griffin this is our dad Keats and this is our pop Grey" I say sitting on the one free chair.  I then smile as Fin sits in my lap and looks at our parents quietly.

"Griffin, it's nice to meet you.  I'm sorry you've been through so much already" pop says smiling at him.  "You are certainly cute" he adds and smiles at dad.  "Griffin, glad the boy's managed to save you.  You are now a member of this pack and we will protect you as we do every family and pack member" dad assures him.

"I'm sorry, as I may have brought trouble to your house" Fin says "door, but it's okay Fin" E corrects moving so he is sitting on the floor near us.  Fin starts stroking his head, wanting assurance from us both.  

"Ethan was just telling us where about you think you escaped from.  If I remember rightly there use to be an old airbase out that way.  I can remember my dad telling me that what we saw on the surface was only a small portion of what was really out there.   As it was believed most of the base was underground" dad tells us.

"That would make sense.  If its underground though? It's going to be hard to get in and out without being detected" I say.

"I know the size. I could hear them walking from room to room. They also talked about part of it collapsing when everything shook" Fin informs us. "Could you draw a map of what you learnt?" dad asks him.

"Draw?" Griffin asks looking at me.   I think about drawing and he nods "I could try, or I could try?" he says and takes my face in his hands and leans his forehead against mine.  I feel and then see what he is trying to show me.  I have to take some deep breaths to calm myself when I see the crate, they kept him in.

I then see him escaping, while smoke was filling the room, he was kept in.  I see things as he did. The old fence that surrounded the area and the place where he was able to get through. The area wasn't that well-guarded.  But then they had put a tracker in him.

He kisses me as the images stop. "I can draw the map of the underground area and I saw the surrounding area after he escaped" I say rubbing his cheek.  "He can share all that with you?" pop asks.  I nod and shrug "would seem so.  Griffin took our knowledge of things, so he could communicate properly with us.  After we mated" I tell them.
