Chapter 24 Ray Of Light

Ryan POV

"Well, isn't that a wonderful sound" he says crouching beside me.  "Wow, what beautiful eyes you have. They remind me, when the sun light shine through the tree branches" E says.  The little one moves a little closer to the arm I have over the edge of the bath.

"It's okay little man.  This is the guy who helped save you.  Fin the other one still dreaming, is like you.  You are safe now.  We won't let anyone hurt you anymore" I assure him.

"He's like a ray of light" E says. As he says that something pokes my memory. "We'll call him Kieryn it means ray of light" I say snapping my fingers. Remembering I heard that somewhere but not remembering where.  "Kieryn, do you like that name, little one?" E asks the child. "Kewyn" the child says.  E grins at him, while I'm in shock he talked at all. "Nearly, Kieryn" E repeats "Kewyn" the child repeats again and looks between us "close enough. Ry we shouldn't leave him in the water to long, it won't be good for his butt" E says.

I nod and scoop him up, while E grabs a towel and wraps it around him.  "Wy" Kieryn says looking at me. "It's the r's he's having trouble with.  It's kind of cute though.  He is Ryker, sorry its an r word.  I'm Ethan and the one still in bed, you can call Fin as Griffin also has an r in it" E says as I stand him on the counter and start to pat him dry with the towel.

Kieryn looks at me "Wykew, Ethan" he repeats. "Hey you can call Buddy" I say as he makes my name sound like an exotic drink or something. "Buddy" he repeats I smile and rub his head. 

"I need to pee and I'm hungry" Fin says walking into the bathroom.  He sits on the toilet and rubs his eyes before looking at us.

As Fin says pee, Kieryn sticks his hips out and pees also.  I shrug as it at least got mainly the sink. I wipe the bit that didn't and rinse out the sink.

"Oh, yeah. Hi short stuff" Fin says waving to Kieryn. "We've name him Kieryn, means ray of light" I tell him. "Sweet, Kieryn you must be hungry" Fin says standing and flushing the toilet. Kieryn watches as he washes his hands and then his face.  "I'm hungry, sometimes you need to be vocal about it.  As they can forget" Fin tells Kieryn, but looking pointedly at me.

"I'll go and order room service. I'm sure pop made up more bottles for Kieryn and we have some baby jar food for him, as we weren't sure how much they'd feed him" E says leaving the bathroom.  "I'm going to wear one of my dresses" Fin says also leaving, "don't forget to put on some underwear too" I remind him. "Why? We are only in our room" I hear Fin complain.

"We are sharing a suite with our parents" I call back.  "But they both have dicks too" Fin whines. I roll my eyes "dicks" Kieryn repeats. "Oh, no, we don't really say that word. Hell! We are going to have to watch what we say now" I say, scratching the back of my head.

"Hell" Kieryn repeats.  I shake my head and he copies that too.  "Okay let's put some cream on your bu, bottom.  I'll leave the nappy off for now" I say picking him up and then taking a folded towel and putting it on the counter.  I lay him down then take the cream and rub it gently over his bottom.

"If you need to go pee, then you need to yell, okay?" "Yell" he repeats "yes yell" I agree carrying him out to the bedroom. "E, did you buy any underwear for him?" I call "yep, its in one of the bags" he answers.  I root around and find a packet of 5 pairs of underpants.

I rip it open and pick the dark blue pair with a picture of a bear on the front.   I pull them on and Kieryn looks at them.  Then pulls them away from his stomach.  "See he hates underwear too" Fin says watching him.  But Kieryn then lets the underpants go and smiles up at me. I smile back and help him into a t-shirt with iron man on the front.  I snicker at Fin, as he scowls at Kieryn.
