Chapter 61 Kieryn and Kai

Kieryn POV

8 years later

Kai and I have graduated and ready to do our residencies in the local hospital.  We both decided it wasn't worth our effort to pretend to be less intelligent than we are, just to try and fit in. Instead, we flew through school in just 5 years. Then we went to the university grandpop went too.  As he had also been a young graduate, they didn't question it too much.  But before we start our residency.  We need to have a talk with our parents.  One that is long over due.

Kai rubs my thigh as we drive along the private road towards the pack. We were so busy that we only got to come back during summer breaks and then we worked under Haley in the medical centre.  We both want to work as doctors in the packs medical centre.  We love our pack and our family. Our big really loud family.

"Stop worrying, you know they love us" Kai says. He is able to speak straight into my head not because of our link or connection.  It's just something he has always been able to do.  It was through him I was able to link our parents at an early age. Then when we could really link our parents through the link.  Kai also found he could tap into others links without them knowing. Then in university we found he could hear other people's thoughts, if they were in the same room or area as him.

It frightened him at first.  But with my help and also learning how Dad Ry shut everyone out.  He was able to control whose thoughts he could hear. We have also known from the beginning we were soulmates.

I take a deep breath and let it out again as we drive through the entrance of the pack.  We wave to the guard and then drive to the main pack carpark.  This time of day our parents will be in the pack office of around the main pack buildings.

"There they are, come on boys" Dad Fin says walking towards our truck.  We jump out and we both hug him.  "It's not fair that all my boys are going to be taller than me" he jokes. "Kieryn, Kai, Congratulations" some of the pack call.

Then I turn feeling dad Ryker run towards us, he pulls us in for one of his big hugs.  I love all my dads, but dad Ryker will always have a special place in my heart.  He was the one that got me out of that cage I was locked in.  It is the same for Kai as it was dad Ryker that first touched and held him.

"You've grown again, E and I have some competition with you two" he teases rubbing our heads. "Ryn, Kai" our first J brothers call out.  Dad Ry lets us go and we bend to hug our brothers.  Where are our L brothers?" I ask "need you ask, in the pool of course" Joel answers.

"They do love the water" I say "E is at home cooking.  We've already told the pack we are having a special family dinner tonight. We will have dinner with the pack tomorrow" Dad Fin says. 

"How is school?" Kai asks our brothers. "Everyone is jealous as we are good at everything. But we don't let that stop us. Still joint first top students.  In every subject" Jordan says and gets a smack around the head from Dad Fin for boosting too much.

Kai and I laugh as we all walk through the pack towards our home.  Waving and greeting the pack.  This is home for us.  A place that means everything to us.  "E, is cooking all your favourites" dad Ry says flinging his arm around my shoulders. 

 "We are so proud of you both. You'll be the first fully qualified doctors of our pack.  I know Haley is proud her students have aced their studies" he says and I can feel how proud he is of us. We might not be their biological children like the triplets, but they've never treated us differently. We have always been included in their family.

Dad Fin, is like us. He was made in a lab. He is a very powerful new shifter. I don't think even he realises just how powerful he is.  Dad E, is a dragon. Soren is also amazing and very protect of us and the pack.  Just like Legend, he can fly and has magic flowing throw him.  Legend does not talk like Dante and Soren do.  But we feel what he feels, which helps us understand him.
