"Suguru! Mahito snuck into my room again!" (Y/n) yelled as she ran through the halls, chasing a certain grey haired curse. She was dressed in a marroon night gown, tripping over her own fuzzg slippers as she avoided bumping into furniture. Mahito giggled as he ran into the main room, running around the sofa with (Y/n) hot on his tail that Geto was sat on with Choso.
"I told you not to sneak into my room at 2am! It's creepy!" She yelled as she skidded across the floor. Choso's eyes followed around the room, tracking their movement with mild confusion. Geto sighed as he moved his next shogi piece across the board, somehow ignoring it all. He was used to this by now.
"I forgot?!" Mahito exclaimed, making (Y/n) scoff loudly."How does one forget to not sneak into someones room?!" (Y/n) asked incredulously, picking up a vase from the nearest table. Mahito's eyes went wide when he saw the weapon in her hands, instantly bolting forwards. Choso watched the interaction without a single hint of expression on his face. The fact that it was now his move within his shogi game with Geto showed how invested he was in watching this showdown.
This caused Geto to sigh again and lokk up from the playing board, realising he could not fully ignore this spat when his Shogi partner was not playing anymore. It was as he looked up that his eyes managed to catch (Y/n)'s accurate vase throw, aiming directly for Mahito's head. Mahito let out a yelp as he hit the floor, whining like a child with a papercut.
"Ouchie." The curse mumbled, rubbing the back of his head with a pout.Choso, who had been watching the whole thing, furrowed his brows with confusion at what just happened.
"That cursed spirit is quite weak." The cursed womb pointed out simply.
"Actually, he's probably one of my strongest curses." Geto hummed with amusement, staring at Mahito who was now being forced by (Y/n) to sweep up the shards of the vase."He allowed himself to get struck so easily?" Choso pointed out, his statement more of a question. Geto smirked and hummed in agreement.
"He knows that if he hurt (Y/n), I'd have to exorsise him." Geto told him. For a minute Choso assumed he was joking, considering how close they seemed. But the glint in his eye told the man everything. He meant that."She is your sister." Choso told him, stating the obvious- remembering that (Y/n) told him that fact earlier.
"Yes, she told you?" Geto asked politely.
"Yes." Choso replied simply, void of emotion. Geto found it impossible to tell what he was thinking, and he was usually quite skilled at that.
"She's quite a blabbermouth, that one. She's been that way since we were children- one moment fiesty and full of fire and the next as sweet as honey." Geto chuckled.Choso hummed as he looked at (Y/n), now apologising for being so rough with Mahito and throwing a vase at him- proving Geto's words without even meaning to. There was more to her then what meets the eye, he could see that. Once she was done talking to Mahito, she turned to face her brother and in that moment made brief eye-contact with Choso. He averted his eyes immediately.
"Oh, Choso! You're here. I thought you wanted to get some sleep?" She asked with slight confusion as she walked closer. Now that she actually paid attention to the room, Hanami was here too, sat on the sidelines reading a newspaper. When Choso did not reply, she found it amusing to think that he may be more of an introvert than Hanami is.
"What are you guys playing?" (Y/n) then asked, now directing her question to her brother who would actually answer.
"Shogi- actually. (Y/n), come and take my spot. I need to check in with Jogo." Her brother told her as he stood to his feet. (Y/n)'s eyes flickered over to Choso to try and see if he had any reaction to that suggestion. But he looked as stoic as ever. The girl took that as her go ahead to sit down.
