¤ (Y/n)'s Point Of View ¤

It was almost nightfall. I had been holding myself captive in my room ever since this mornings incident. It's not that this hasn't happened before, because it definetly has a few times now. But this is a first that it happened with company around. It was embarrasing to say the least. So I continued to be a coward all day rather than explain myself to our guests, staying in my room and working on my cursed technique alone.

When Geto whisked me away earlier, we talked about what Mahito said to me about Gojo- or more so, he forced me to tell him what Mahito said to me about Gojo. After our talk, Geto assigned me a mission to complete for him- in hopes to distract my mind. He called them missions to mimic what I was used to from jujutsu high- but in reality, they were just curse-related errands.

I chose to wait untill the sky was pitch black for me to leave the estate, hoping that everyone was in the confines of their room by then- sleeping or such. I crept out of my room quietly once I had finally convinced myself to leave, not wanting to wake up whoever was asleep. I made my way to the living room, wanting to exit through the patio as that was the best place to warp. The petal and ash I left behind always blended right in with the garden in our patio.

Once my hand touched the handle on the glass sliding doors, a voice made me freeze in place, gulping quietly.
"You're leaving." A voice said, his husky tone immediately letting me know who it was. I turned around slowlt to face Choso, as if I had just gotten caught. Choso's words were always spoken as an observation rather than a question.
"Oh, just running an errand for my brother. I'll be back in an hour or so." I told him with a sheepish smile, tightly grasping my hands together behind my back.

"May I join you?" Choso then asked politely, making my eyes widen. If he joins me, I'll have to adress what happened earlier. But it wasn't like I could just simply say no to him.
"O-oh, um. Yeah, you can if you'd like." I agreed with a stammer, kicking myself for acting so hesitant about it. But Choso did not comment on my hesitancy, instead he stands up from where he was sat on the sofa.

I take that as my que to unlock the patio doors and slide them open. I hurry out onto the patio, his following quietly behind me. There goes my plan of quickly warping away without notice. As we walked down the patio steps, silence took over us. I began to feek awkward, feeling the need to fiddle with my hands.
"Look, about earlier..." I trail off, not finding the courage nor words to finish my sentence.

"No need to explain yourself, Mahito has done so already." Choso reassured calmly, making my eyes flicker to Choso's. Mahito already explained?
"He has? What did he say?" I asked curiously, trying not to sound as suprised as I actually was.
"He told me the little information he knew about Gojo and that the mention of his name triggers memories for you." Choso admitted truthfully.

I bit the inside of my cheek with frustration. Mahito had no right telling him that. It was none of his buisness. He didn't even know half the story, he had barely been born as a curse when it all happened. His relationship with Geto then was weak and he himself weaker.
"Oh." I mumbled out, inhaling sharply. I guess now I had to explain, didn't I?
"He's..." I trailed off again, not finding the right words.

"You do not need to tell me anything." Choso assured quickly, eyes eyes locked on the floor. He has never been one for eye-contact, has he? But he was wrong. I did need to tell him something. I didn't want his impression of me to alter due to Mahito's words of all people.
"Well, what did Mahito say exactly?" I asked him with a small sigh.
"Gojo is a sorcerer." Choso replied simply. I guess Mahito really didn't tell him much.

"He is the sorcerer." I corrected, with a bitter chuckle. Satoru was born with every jujutsu the Gojo family could have asked for. The infinity technique and the six eyes? He was gold within the jujutsu world. Even I was no regarded as highly, even if I was so easily able to kill him with the touch of my left hand. He was able to break my domain explansion and that solidified his crown- when in reality, I just didn't want him to die.

"The strongest jujutsu sorcerer in the world." I added darkly, Choso and I stopping at the center of the patio.
"Do you truly believe that?" Choso asked me curiously, making me smile forcefully before nodding. Gojo is the strongest jujutsu sorcerer in the world, only because I am not a jujutsu sorcerer- I am a mere curse user now.
"Yes...but everyone has a weakness." I told him, his eyes narrowing.

"And his?" The black haired male questioned with piqued interest.
"Me." I smile, something shifting in Choso's eyes- as if he were impressed.
"You were close." Choso commented, again making his question seem like an observation- though, I suppose it was.
"As close as I am to Suguru...Maybe even closer." I admitted dangerously before clearing my throat suddenly as I prepared to continue walking before saying,

"But betrayal is betrayal no matter if they are friend, foe or family."
