(Y/n)'s Point Of View
After my talk with Geto, I headed on out to complete the mission he would have me. I had to admit, I was relieved to hear him say that he wouldn't send me on any tasks like this for a while until Gojo stopped trying to get in contact with me. I hated retrieving curses for him- and even more so the other types of mission he gave me, like recruiting curse users. Usually, they were mentally unstable.
It was odd for me to be walking down this neighbourhood during the day. Everything looked so different during the day compared to what it looked night under the night sky. There were actually people walking down the streets during the day, women with shopping bags and children playing catch. That meant that I'd have to be sly with capturing the curse, getting Kai to appear as something that did not attract any unwanted attention.
Once I was done capturing this curse, I could go home and relax. I was thinking about maybe making a cheesecake tonight and let the brothers share it. Though, I'm not sure how much they'd like it since they've probably never tasted cheesecake before. Kechizu was the first that came to mind when it came to complaints, since he usually wanted everything to include some sort of meat.
My planning was cut off the moment I saw a head of silver hair. My eyes widened as I stopped walking, getting hit by a strong sense of deja vu.
"Again?" I hissed to myself as I took a step back, immediately hiding my cursed energy as I slipped behind the nearest wall. I peaked out slowly, my eyes locking on Satoru's bored form, kicking stones as he aimlessly walked in circles outside the building that I was supposed to go inside. He knew that that was the only building with any sort of curse of interest, so he waited outside the building to see if I'd attempt to exorcise it, standing in the centre of the road. I grimaced as I leaned my forehead against the wall with frustration, clenching my eyes shut. He wasn't supposed to be here during the day, which was the reason I was supposed to retrieve the curse now instead of later.
I then peaked around the corner again, hoping that in a few moments Gojo would give up once again and warp away just like he did last time. He probably had a class to attempt to, yet didn't look like he planned on leaving at all. This was getting out of hand. He couldn't possibly plan to do this everyday for the rest of his life, could he? I had to put an end to this.
My eyes then locked on a child with a backpack and a large ball in his hands that walked past me, humming a tune that I didn't at all recognise.
"Hey, kid!" I whisper-yelled, capturing his attention instantly. I motioned for him to come closer, hoping he didn't capture Gojo's attention as he done so.
"Yeah?" The kid asked me, suspiciously.
"Do you have a pen and something to write on?" I asked him.The kid pulled down his bag and began fishing out a pen and a post it note before handing it over to me. I thanked him before using his pen to write 'Stop this, Satoru. Please.' on the post it note.
"You see that man over there?" I then asked him, pointing over at Gojo. His eyes followed my finger, landing on Satoru almost instantly.
"Yeah?" He confirmed with a raised brow."Could you give this note to him, please?" I asked the kid pleadingly.
"Are you playing hide and seek?" He asked me, his eyes lighting up.
"Uh- yeah? You could say that." I answered, making him giddy- his suspicions taken away.
"Okay!" He exclaimed excitedly, pulling my note from my fingers and running towards Gojo.I sucked in a deep, nervous breath watching the kid approach Satoru.
"Hey, Mister!" The kid exclaimed, making Gojo turn to face him with knotted brows. When his eyes locked on the kid, it was like I forgot how to breathe.
"Your friend told me to give you this." The kid said, handing Satoru over the note. My jaw clenched when he took it into his hands, reading it carefully. When he was done, his eyes snapped up, looking around him quickly. I had to hide completely behind the wall so that we didn't make eye contact.
