3rd Point Of View

Almost half an hour into watching the bread rise, (Y/n) began to feel nauseous. She'd been biting the inside of her cheek all morning everytime she felt herself want to cry. Eventually the dull metallic taste of her blood coating her mouth got to her and started to make her feel extremely sick.
"I..need some fresh air." The girl told Choso, eyeing the open patio doors.

"Go, I'll keep an eye on the bread." Choso told her, motioning over to the doors.
"I'll be back before the timer goes off." She then said before standing to her feet, Choso nodding. (Y/n) then wasted no time in charging hurriedly outside into the patio, welcomed by the cool summer breeze the moment she stepped barefoot on the stone walkway. She took a few steps forward into the garden, waiting for the feeling bubbling in her chest to go away. But it didn't.

The breeze wasn't enough to make her feel better and the sun kissing her skin gave her heat that she didn't want. It was all overwhelming- overstimulating.
"Kai..." The girl then whispered. The beast wasted no time waiting for an invitation, rising up from the ground as a lily pad. (Y/n) let herself crumble onto the greenery, barely noticing as she was dragged into the earth and into her domain.

(Y/n) slowly rolled off Kai and onto the black void of a ground that was her domain expansion. In here she could feel nothing. It was a blessing. She laid flat on her back, sprawled out like a starfish, staring up and the black sky with a blank expression.
"You said you needed fresh air." Kai commented pointedly, his voice dark and ominous, echoeing through her domain.

Not a lot of people knew that Kai could speak- and by not a lot, that meant nobody but (Y/n). Kai simply refused to speak to anybody else.
"I lied." She whispered to him.
"Then what is it you needed?" Kai asked.
"To feel nothing." She replied softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Kai accepted her answer, allowing her to bask in the nothingness that was his home.

Choso knew (Y/n) went into her domain the moment the ground began rumbling beneath his feet. That was usually the tell, to show Kai was coming. He didn't try to stop her, figuring that she'd come out when she was ready this time. He realised that her domain was like her safe zone- a immediate clue to that was that (Y/n) managed to fall asleep in her domain. She probably didn't need to be held by anyone there because she was surrounded by Kai's presence.

Choso wasn't too worried about the fact that she may not come out at all. If Kai let Choso retrieve her once, he'd possibly be able to do it again. Choso formed a plan in his head as he stared off into the distance boredly- when the timer goes off, Choso will take the bread out of the oven and then retrieve (Y/n). Yes, that was a good plan-
"(Y/n), have you seen anyone this morning?" Geto asked as he walked into the living room, "I can't seem to find- ah, Choso it's you. Where's (Y/n)?"

Choso's eyes flickered over to the garden, wondering whether or not to be specific on her exact whereabouts.
"She is out for some fresh air." Choso replied, deciding on half-truths instead.
"Ah, I see. I thought it was odd to see you at the centre of this mess." Suguru chuckled, motioning over to the cooking bread in the oven. "The kitchen is usually her territory."

"She allowed me to assist her as she baked this morning." Choso told him, making his eyebrows raised with suprise.
"Wow, that's quite an accomplishment. (Y/n)'s never let anyone assist her before. I must say I'm surprised." Geto chuckled. This made Choso silent, internally beaming with pride because he hadn't known that small fact.

"Well, I hope she returns soon. I was hoping to talk to her about Gojo's notebook before everyone returns." Geto mumbled to himself, just loud enough for Choso to make out his words. The cursed womb spirits eyes went wide, his head snapping up to look at Geto.
"I guess I'll wait until later." Suguru sighed, brushing his fingers through his hair with disappointment.
