(Y/n)'s Point Of View
Currently, I was walking down the quiet streets of Aoyama, which was one of the richest neighbourhoods in Tokyo. Back when I was a sorcerer, I found out from Masamichi Yaga that the rich people forbade tresspasers on their land, forcing the sorcerers to leave neighbourhoods like these for legal reasons.
It was these neighbourhoods that I found most of Geto's curses, usually 2md grade or higher because the weaker curses became stronger over time with nobody to exorcise them. Today I was specifically looking for a 1st grade curse, with the ability to turn into multiple hand-made weapons- created from the fear of manual labor. Rich people, right?
Usually on tasks like these, retrieving cursed for Geto wasn't my only accomplishment of the night. Usually, I scower the whole of the neighbourhood for smaller curses that I could exorcise before I capture the specific one that Geto needs. Last time, I scrapped out the first part, scared that I'd upset him if I exorcised curses infront of him- considering he's half curse and all. But due to our recent conversation, I found out that he doesn't mind at all, and that made me more comfortable.
I quietly hummed a lullaby as I strolled down the empty streets. The one thing I did really like about rich neighbourhoods were how quiet they were, how peaceful. It made spotting a curse so much easier because they were the bold and bright anomaly on of the pretty painted picture. As I walked, I couldn't help but let my mind wonder about Choso. How was he and what was he doing now?
I grimaced at the thought that immediately flashed across my mind, thinking that was a high possiblity that the brothers would kill someone- or even multiple people tonight. It wasn't a secret that Kechizu and Eso had already had their fun with Mahito before today, evident in the way they came back to the estate covered in blood multiple times. But Choso has usually been by my side, so I didn't actually know whether killing humans was something he'd also enjoy.
I wasn't going to lie and say I'd be fine with Choso killing- that I wouldn't see him differently. I hoped he wouldn't. But being surrounded by brothers who did kill for fun and Suguru who killed as he pleased depending on his mood, and Mahito who killed humans to create puppets for his cursed technique- I wasn't sure if Choso could simply just not kill in their presence.
My thoughts were immediately cut off as I suddenly sensed a familiar life force close by, making my feet stop in place. No...impossible. My eyes nervously flickered around me, trying to lock on the person I knew was now here. It was dark and I couldn't see anybody on the streets, so I looked up and surely enough, there he was. His silver hair made him stands out amongst the tiled roofs. I gulped as I took a step back, terror consuming me.
"Shit, fuck-shit! What's he doing here?" I hissed to my self as my eyes locked on Gojo. He was leaning against the railing of a rooftop, staring down at the streets to his side- as if he were looking for something, someone. I quickly masked my cursed energy before warping onto the rooftop of a higher building, behind him. Luckily, he hadn't noticed me down on the streets. But if I had been lost in thought for a few minutes longer, he would have sensed my cursed energy- or even worse, I would have walked down the street right before his eyes.
Jujutsu sorcerers weren't supposed to be in this neighbourhood- this and 6 other neighbourhoods with similar rules. I wondered why he was here but judging by the way his head was going side to side, he was definetly looking for someone. Was he looking for me? Gojo kneeled down as he pulled off his blindfold, his eyes squinted as he tried to make out the faces of two girls that walked down the street. He sighed in disappointment after a while- probably realising they weren't me.
I let out a staggered breath, coming to the conclusion that he was indeed looking for me. I stayed silent on the rooftop behind him, not moving as I watched him just kneel there for two whole minutes. He was waiting for me. But how did he know I'd be here? I had a feeling he'd know I was in town after my encounter with Itadori Yuuji, but that couldn't be helped. I just didn't think he'd come looking for me.
After the second minute passed, Satoru stood to his feet with a sigh.
"Not this neighbourhood either then." The man spoke to himself with disappointment before warping away. My eyes widened after he'd spoken, having not heard his voice so clearly for a very long time. It sent chills up my arms, making me shiver.I stayed on that rooftop just a little while longer, in thought. He must be going through all the neighbourhoods that Jujutsu sorcerers do not go to- meaning that he had somehow found out that I still exorcise curses. Since Gojo's six eyes do not work on me, he has to rely on seeing me with his eyes or sensing my cursed energy. So if I had gotten her half an hour early and had used my cursed technique on a few curses, he would have sensed the residue in the air and realised that I was just there.
But I saw Gojo before he saw me and masked my cursed energy before I could use my cursed technique. I also took a bus here, and did not walk so he would not have sensed the cursed residue from my arrival. Despite all my luck today, finding out that Satoru was searching for me suddenly made things quite difficult. I wasn't ready to talk to him yet, and I wasn't sure if I ever would be.
I inhaled deeply as I warped away, warping to where I sensed Geto's life force. I decided to join the boys on their night out because I couldn't continue on with my mission knowing that Gojo was poking around in places that he shouldn't be. I found Geto sitting on a park bench, his back turned to the entrance to one of Tokyo's largest forests. Infront of him was an empty field, where I saw Mahito, Eso and Kechizu playing ball. It took me a few seconds to realise that the ball was a human head.
Suguru noticed me the moment I warped beside him, using the back of his hand to swat the ash and petals that the breeze drifted towards him.
"(Y/n), you've joined us!" Suguru exclaimed with a joyful grin, but the moment he saw the hesitation on my face, his smile dropped and contorted into a look of worry."I...um..." I couldn't really get any words out, my heart still beating fast from my almost-encounter with Gojo.
"What's wrong?" Suguru asked immediately, sitting up as I sat down robotically beside him.
"I think...Satoru's looking for me." I admitted with furrowed brows, my eyes trained on my lap."What?" Geto asked immediately, his brows knotted together with displeasure.
"He was looking around for someone in the Aoyama district...outside the site that contained the only curses in the area." I explained, deciding not to add on the fact that he was probably out looking in other districts as we spoke.
"But sorcerers aren't allowed in Aoyama?" Suguru asked me, sounding more like he was asking himself."I know..." I muttered softly, gnawing at my bottom lip with anxiety. My brother then sighed beside me, before rubbing my shoulder comfortingly.
"I'm sure it's nothing but a coincidence. Go back tomorrow to retrieve the curse, I'm sure he won't be there two days in a row. Today is merely an anomaly." Suguru told me, making me nod, forcing myself to believe him."Okay..." I agreed quietly, my eyes finally looking up to see the boys playing with their human headed ball. I winced as they kicked it around, Eso hoping and stepping weirdly from side to side so that nobody may see his back. The one thing I noticed was that a certain noirette was missing from the scene.
"Where's Choso?" I asked my brother, looking around not so subtly to see if he was sitting on another bench."He wondered off into the forest. We're about to leave soon. Why don't you go fetch him?" My brother suggested, making me nod obediently, having no objections to this particular job.
"Okay." I chipped, already forgetting all about Gojo and I jumped out of my seat with a small smile and began making my way to the forest entrance cheerfully."Tone down that excitment, little sister. Any more enthusiasm in that walk and that cursed womb spirit will spot your feelings from a mile away." Suguru teased from behind me, allowing me to hear the smirk in his voice. I froze at his words, before turning back to face him with wide eyes. Like I predicted, he had the widest grin across his lips.
Fucking Mahito.
(A.N ~ I love this story.)
