Chapter Twenty-Seven: Anomaly

~Anomaly~

(Twilight Town)

Four weeks went by as Racydex and Xen spent their days completing missions for the Organization. But they had no way of knowing the events that would soon take place and change their lives forever. In the Old Mansion, Phoenix and Isfrid stood in front of Darcey's pod, staring at the young teen as she slept peacefully inside. DiZ walked up and joined them, stopping to his right."You seem to be struggling." DiZ says. "A Nobody is interfering, I think." Phoenix says. Isfrid nodded her head and warbled feeling anxious. "A Nobody?" DiZ asks. "I keep trying to piece her memory back together, but what if some of the pieces got lost? There would be no way for me to finish. If that happened--and they found their way into someone else—she'd never get them back." Phoenix says. "Oh, I think she can do without a memory or two." DiZ says. "But what-what if she needs those memories in order to wake up? What if they're the key?" Phoenix asks. Isfrid placed her head on his shoulder for comfort. Phoenix rubbed her head, while she purred."Phoenix... you are a wizard who has powers over Darcey's memories and those connected to her. Are you seeing something that I cannot?" DiZ says. "If her memories become his memories... he will never survive it." Phoenix says. "He?" DiZ says confused. Shimmer warbled and tilted her head in confusion, Who is this male nobody? And would he have Darcey's memories?

(Destiny Islands)

Meanwhile weeks after hearing the news from DiZ, learning that Darcey is alive but in a coma. Everyone was taking the news with great sorrow but relief at the same time. Mara just returned from Eureka, after helping Global Dynamics from the Rocket Annual Race incident. While she was focused on her duties as General and leader of the Destiny Islands resistance outreach headquarters. She still worries about her family and hopes that they are safe. Her train of thought was interrupted when Irene Fredric from Warehouse 13 arrived in her office. Seeing the sadness in Mara's eyes, "Mara, I understand your concerns for your family and that you've regained your memories of Darcey." Irene consoled her. Mara looked at her and asked "Even when she does wakes up, what if she doesn't remember me? If only I'd known what trouble she was heading into I would've helped her." Mara says. "Don't forget we have artefacts that can restore lost memories, at the Warehouse," Irene told her, as she held her hands. This gave Mara hope, their moment was interrupted when her assistant Adoranella arrived with her tablet in her hand. "I'm so sorry to interrupt, General. Mrs Fredric." Adoranella apologised. "It's alright, I'd need to return to the Warehouse about Walter Sykes. Good day, General." Irene reassured her, as she and her bodyguard left Mara's office. Leaving Mara and her assistant in the room, "Adoranella do you have the list of new recruits for the pilot training program?" Mara asked. "Yes General, many of them have unique skills or have diverse hidden strengths," Adoranella replied. "Perfect, having unique pilots can help us see things we can not. Let's meet these new recruits." Mara said, as she left her office followed by Adoranella, who was trailing behind her.

(The World That Never Was)

Xen lay on his bed, sleeping peacefully. Any moment he would awaken to start his mission. But that soon changed when he started twisting and turning. And not only that, he began grunting and groaning as though he were in pain. Xen was experiencing a nightmare.

(Xen's Nightmare)

Xen found herself all alone in a misty area surrounded by pitch-black darkness. As he looked around, a dark, demonic, evil, old voice calls out to Xen, echoing all around him, causing him to freeze in his tracks."Xen" The voice calls out eerily. A gust of wind blows through Xen as a ghostly breath of air, causing him to gasp in shock and shiver from the cold chill. "Who's there? Who are you?" Xen asks. "I am of darkness, determined to re-new this universe into anew. Where darkness rules and light will be extinguished. I am the destiny of all living things and all species. The fate that leads to true destiny, power, control and perfection. I am the dark void form which all living species are given birth. The dark abyss to which all are pre-destined to return." The dark voice says. Xen had never heard such an evil voice. It sounded like a male's voice, but it was deep, dark, and disembodied. He looks infront of her and gasps as a tall, Force-sensitive genetic strandcast humanoid male figure emerges from the darkness, blowing away a bunch of mist. It was Snoke, Kylo Ren's master and Supreme Leader of the First Order. "Even one such as you, Xen." Snoke says. Xen stares at Snoke in absolute horror as it towers over him.
