Louri’s POV
2 months later.
Scarlett is done with filming for the newest movie and I am on my way to the air port to pick her and Devon up.
“Hey Baby I’m on my way.” I say answering the phone.
“Hi Mama.” Devon says.
“Hey Buddy what are you doing with Mommy’s phone?” I chuckle.
“You’re speaker Babe.” Scarlett’s voice comes through the phone.
“What gate will you two…..” I say as I feel the crash of the other car hitting me and my car flips.
“Louri? Louri? Louri what was that sound? Louri are you ok?” Scarlett’s voice comes from the phone.
“I don’t kn….”

Scarlett’s POV
“What gate will you two…” Louri says as I hear a big banging and crashing sound come through the phone.
“Louri? Louri? Louri what was that sound? Louri are you ok?” I ask panicked.
“I don’t kn…” Then she stops talking.
“LOURI!” I scream through the phone. “Scarlett what’s going on? Did you get a hold of Lor?” Chris asks. “Yes but I think she’s been in an accident.” I tell him before I hear a voice come through the phone but they aren’t talking to me. “Ma’am! Oh shit I’m calling 911. Oh god it’s you. You’re the Marine that gave themself up to save my life. I won’t let you die not like this Major. Hi yes I’d like to report an accident. This is Colonel Burns. I am administering first aid to the driver Major Louri Evans Johansson.  Yes, thank you.” I hear them say. “HELLO!” I yell through the phone. “Hello, who am I speaking to?” They ask. “Louri’s wife we were talking when the crash happened, how is she?” I ask scared. “I’m not going to lie Ma’am she was t-boned by a humvee and her truck flipped and she has multiple life threatening injuries. I am a medic and administering first aid. The EMT’s are here now Ma’am. They said they are taking her to St. Francis hospital.” He says before hanging up. “I called a car to pick us up. They are on their way.” Chris says and I nod because if I speak I will scream. “I’ll take him.” Chris says and I nod again.

“Evans family.” A doctor calls out after four hours and twenty three minutes of us waiting. Devon fell asleep. “That’s us.” I say. “Major Evans is currently being moved into her room in the ICU she is in a coma and on a ventalenter. I can take you to her room if you like. Only three visitors at a time.” He says. “Chris will you come?” I ask. “Try and stop me.” He says.

Louri’s POV
I can feel myself being moved onto a bed I can hear all the machines beeping. But I don’t hear any one I know. “Right in here Mrs. Johansson.” I hear a man say. “Oh my god Louri.” I hear Scarlett say, then I feel her grab my hand. “We’re here Babe. I don’t know if you can hear me but the doctor said that talking to you like it’s a normal day will help you wake up.” Scarlett says. I want to tell her I’m here I can hear her and I’m going to be ok. “Hey sis it’s me Chris. Devon is asleep in Scarlett’s arms. He’s going to want to talk to you when he wakes up so you better wake up.” I hear my brother say.
3 months
“I can’t do this anymore, I can't take this.” Scarlett says letting go of my hand and I can hear her stand up and walk away. BABY I’M RIGHT HERE DON’T GIVE UP ON ME PLEASE!! I scream internally. About an hour later I start hearing all the machines in my room start to go off and I can feel myself waking up. I wake up screaming.
