Scarlett’s POV
2 ½ months later
I get off the plane. We finished filing early. I’ve got the twins in the uber I ordered. my phone rings and it’s Louri when answer the phone it’s not Louri again. “Hey Bubby.” I smile at Devon is he in the closet? “Hi Mommy I’m playing hide and seek with Mama.” He says. “DEVON! LITTLE MARINE WHERE ARE YOU?” I hear Louri yell and it doesn’t sound like she knows she’s playing hide and seek. “Did you tell Mama that?” I ask. “No but she’s a Marine she’ll find me.” He smiles while Louri is probably having a heart attack. “And I can’t find my phone. Greg call 911!” Louri yells panicked. “LOURI BABY!” I yell into the phone. “Wait! Lor I  found him!” Greg yells out as he opens the closet and comes into frame. “Hey Greg how’s the workshop coming?” I ask. “It’s coming almost done.” He says as footsteps come running into the room. “I found your phone too.” Greg says. “I don’t give a fuck about the phone. Devon don’t do that you scared me.” She tells him. “You might care about the phone if you look at the screen.” Greg says. “Greggory I told you I don’t give a oh Scarlett hey Baby. Sorry for full naming you.” She apologizes to Greg. “Hey it’s fine I didn’t know you even knew how to panic.” He says as Louri still has Devon in her hold. “Why were you scared? We were playing hide and seek.” Devon says. “Next time tell me when we are playing ok.” She tells him. “Mommy gave me away.” He pouts. “Well I’m glad she did because I almost had the cops come to find you.” Louri says kissing his head. “Mommy did that to me once.” Devon says proudly. “You did this to Mommy too?” She asks. “Yeah I was terrified I didn’t want your Mama to come home and you not be there. We love you too much for that.” I say. “Was this when I was on tour?” She asks. “Yeah and to add to the stress I was pregnant with the twins.” I tell her. “Devon that’s mean.” Greg says. “Can we watch Mommy’s movie tonight?” He asks and I am confused about which movie. “Buddy we have watched Mommy’s movie every night this month.” Louri groans. “Which movie? I’ve been in a lot?” I ask. “Sing. I had him watch it and he asked why Ash sounded like you and I told him that you are the one that voices her and now he won’t stop asking.” Louri says. “Louri you are the adult you can say no.” I chuckle. “Look at this face. Look at it, how do I say no to this face?” She asks, pointing to Devon’s face, making him giggle. “You have to not look at him when you say no." I say. "Why didn’t I think of that?" She says. "Because you are normally pouting with him to get me to agree." I point out. "Ok maybe I do that." She concedes. "Maybe? Ha he learned how to pout from you." I laugh softly. "And I taught him too well." She whines. “Wait, you actually taught him how to pout?” Greg laughs. “Oh Greg you should have seen them. They were in the office and Louri had a mirror and everything teaching him how.” I laugh at the memory. “We wanted ice cream for dinner ok.” Louri defends. “Lor you are a idiot you know that right?” Greg chuckles. “Hey that’s my idiot.” I say. “You heard the woman, I'm her idiot. Baby hold on, someone just pulled up I’ll call you back.” She says and hangs up. Just to mess with her more I knock on the door as the uber drives away. “I’M COMING!” Louri’s voice calls out. “Hi how can I…” She looks at me and a smile grows on her face. “Give me my babies.” She almost growls. “Clingy much. DEVON!!” I run to him while Louri holds the twins. “MOMMY!!” He yells as I pick him up and hold onto him. “You were saying.” Louri jokes. “Ok we are both clingy.” I admit and she nods. “Family cuddles.” Devon cheers. “That sounds perfect.” I tell him. “Hey Scarlett I didn’t think you were back for two more weeks.” Greg says giving me a shoulder hug. “I got my scenes done and I missed these two goofballs so I came home.” I shrug. “Le gasp I am empress goofball.” Louri jokes. “Oop Greg. Grace is calling me again. I think you should go home, you've been here a week.” Louri tell him. “I was spending time with some of my favorite people.” He says. “And Grace probably misses you go. You can come back this weekend so we can finish the workshop.” Louri tells him. He kisses the twins on the head, gives Devon a hug and grabs his bag and heads out. “Can we watch your movie Mommy?” Devon asks giving me those big puppy dog eyes. “Sure just this once.” I give in.
