Chapter #14 Louri’s POV “So you really aren’t going to let me see?” I ask as we get in bed. “Nope.” She says popping the P. “But Baby please.” I pout. “Don’t pout Babe, you'll see it tomorrow.” She says kissing the pout away. “Feel better?” She asks. “MmI think I need one more kiss and I’ll be good.” I ssy, making her chuckle. “I love you.” I tell her. “I love you more.” She says. “Not posible.” I say wrapping my arms around her. “Good night Babe.” She mumbles. “Good night Baby.” I say kissing the top of her head.
“Babe, wake up now.” I wake up to a very excited Scarlett. “I’m up geez, why are you so energetic?” I ask. “You are getting your tattoo today, remember.” She smiles. “I forgot, let's go!” I say jumping out of bed. “Babe you need pants. You can’t go in a t-shirt and underwear.” She laughs. “You don’t like my ass?” I tease. “No, I love your ass. But the tattoo artist doesn’t need to love it either.” She says. “I love it when you get possessive. It’s hot.” I tell her as I put on some shorts. “Oh and I finally get to see your tattoo well, your new one.” I smile. “I hear small feet approaching.” Scarlett says. “I hear it too. I wonder who it could be?” I joke. “Hello, is anyone there?” I ask, opening the door. “Mama, I here.” Devon whines. “Scarlett, did you hear something? It sounded like a little Marine but I’m not sure.” I say tapping my chin. “Mommy why Mama weird?” Devon asks and I gasp and pick him up. “I found him. Good morning little Marine, did you sleep well?” I ask carrying him over to bed which Scarlett still hasn’t gotten out of. “Mmhm.” He nods. “Are you still tired buddy?” Scarlett asks, getting the same response. “Mama.” He whispers well, tries to he sucks at it. “What is it Buddy?” I ask. “Mommy’s getting fat.” He says pointing to Scarlett’s baby bump. “Rude.” Scarlett mumbles. “Hey Buddy, that’s not very nice. You shouldn’t call people that.” I tell him. “Sworry Mommy.” Devon says reaching over and wrapping his arms around her neck and sitting in her lap. “I accept your apology, Bubs. Now go put on some outside clothes we are going out today ok. Do you want any help?” She says. “No, I can do it.” He says with a giant grin and leaves the room. “Why do they have to grow up again?” I ask, resting my head on Scarlett’s shoulder. “I don’t know but he’s only two and a half.” She says. “Closer to three.” I say. “Yeah, come on let’s get ready to go. The appointment is in an hour and a half and we still have to drop Devon off at Liz’s.” Scarlett says getting up so I dramatically fall over onto my side. “My head rest moved.” I whine. “You are a giant child.” She says. “Eh, that might be true but you love me.” I say getting up. “That I do.” She says, giving me a kiss before going to get ready herself.
“Ok Devon be good for your Aunt Lizzie ok.” Scarlett says getting a nod in return. “He’ll be fine, we'll have fun together, won't we?” Liz says to Devon. “Ice cream.” He says and I just glare at her. “Shh Devon that’s our secret but yes I have ice cream.” She says scrunching up her nose. “Liz really?” Scarlett says. “What, I'm the fun Aunt and you can’t so no to this face I mean look at him.” Liz says. “Yeah he gets it from Scarlett.” I say. “Come on, we are going to be late.” I say looking at my watch. “So what are you getting I know that Scarlett is getting the…” Liz is cut off by Scarlett’s hand. “It’s a surprise Liz.” Scarlett says and Liz nods. “So close.” I groan. “Let’s get going Babe. See you later, Bubs.” Scarlett says kissing Devon on the head and I do the same before we head for the tattoo parlor.
We are at Bobby and Jody’s tattoo parlor. They are brothers and I’m about halfway through my tattoo when I hear Scarlett come over. “Hey how’s it going over here?” She asks. “Going good, are you all done?” I ask. “Yep. What do you think?” She says, showing me her arm.

“Baby I love it. It’s beautiful.” I tell her. “Thank you.” She says. “It’s really beautiful Baby. You did great work as always Jody.” I tell her tattoo artist he does all her tattoos. “Thanks. Yours is looking really good. Damn, my brother is good.” Jody says. “Thanks bro I try.” Bobby says. “Bobby, you have done every one of my tattoos and I can tell you they are more than good.” I tell him still not allowed to move. “Thanks Lor.” He says. A few more hours go by and I wake up to Scarlett’s soothing voice. “Babe. Babe Bobby’s all done. You fell asleep.” She says handing me my shirt to cover myself with. “Ok so Louri typacal after care but no bras ok for the next three days.” He says. “Ok thank you so much. I know this was a gift but can I at least tip.” I ask. “Scarlett already did. It’s very hard to say no to her.” He says. “Trust me I know.” I laugh.
