Louri’s POV
After enjoying our bath together, we slowly get out and wrap ourselves in towels. We do our nighttime routine together using some of The Outset products that Scarlett brought home that they have been testing to see how well they work. So far my favorite is the ultra-light moisture boosting oil. It makes my skin feel so light and smooth. We smile at each other in the bathroom mirror as we do our routine and then head into the bedroom. “I think we should cuddle naked,” I say to Scarlett as we walk to each side of our bed. “You don’t have to tell me twice,” she says, smirking at me. I walk over to the door to lock it just in case, Devon has been pretty good at knocking before coming into the room and we have the monitor on for the twins. Once I walk back over to the bed, Scarlett lifts the sheet and comforter up so I can slide in close to her as she moves closer to me until she’s practically got her body on top of me, making me laugh. “Comfy?” I ask her. “Very much so,” she replies, looking up to me smiling. I wrap my arms around her protectively and give her a kiss on her head. “I’m so happy that you were able to come visit with the kids.” She says as we lay together. “Me too, I couldn’t stand hearing how upset you were and I know you missed the kids so much” I say to her. “I missed all 4 of you” she says, holding onto me tighter as if I’m about to disappear. “Hey, hey it’s going to be ok. We still have a couple days together, let’s enjoy every moment of it” I say rubbing her back with one hand. She nods and takes a deep breath relaxing more into me. I lean over gently and turn off the lamp and lay back. “Good night babe,” I say to her. “Goodnight baby” she replies softly, soon falling asleep with me right behind her.

Scarlett’s POV
I woke up the next morning feeling so relaxed and refreshed. I haven’t felt this great since I flew back here from Germany. I just feel so safe in my Marine’s arms. She will always protect the kids and I no matter what. As I lay there, I gently trace lines and circles up and down the valley of her breasts to her stomach. I love her body so much, even with her scars and burns she has gotten through so many years on the battlefield she is more beautiful than ever. I always make sure to cherish every inch of her body as she does mine. As I’m mindlessly tracing her body I start to see her stir. “Mmm, good morning babe” she says in her sexy morning voice. “Good morning baby” I say leaning forward placing a kiss onto her lips making her smile widely. “How did you sleep?” she asks. “Amazing, I love waking up in your arms, seeing you sleep all peacefully and cute.” I say. “Shh, don’t give away my secret” she says, making me giggle. “Don’t worry your secret is safe with me” I tell her. We kiss once more, deepening it as Louri pulls me closer to her making me moan into the kiss and her smirking. We pull away once air becomes a problem. I smile down at her, with my hand on her chest. “I love you so much Louri” I say. “And I love you too Scarlett” she replies, making my heart flutter with happiness. “What should we do today?” She asks me. “Hmm, since I have the day off, we should have a family day at the zoo,” I tell her. “I think that’s a great idea” she says, smiling. “Alright let’s get up and get ready so we can get the kids up” I tell her, making her nod and giving me one last kiss before unwrapping her arms from my body. As much as it sucks losing that warmth, I know we have to get up from bed. I reluctantly get up so that she can get up as well. She slaps my ass making me gasp as she runs into the bathroom. “Hey that’s not fair” I shout to her, making her laugh. “Well are you going to just stand there or are you going to join me in the shower?” She asks, wiggling her eyebrows. I quickly run into the bathroom and kiss her before we both get into the shower under the warm water. We keep it PG, just kissing each other and washing each other. I enjoy moments like this because we are gentle and loving with each other. Once we finish showering we get out, dry off and get changed for the day. Since it’s going to be warm I decide to put on cute jean shorts and a white tshirt. Louri decided to put on a navy blue tshirt and black shorts. She looks so fucking sexy. “Take a picture, it’ll last longer” she says smirking, making me blush. “I’m just admiring my sexy wife,” I tell her, making her blush this time. “Have you looked in the mirror?” She asks, making me smile. Once we are dressed we go wake up Devon and the twins, getting them changed for the day as well. While Louri packs her backpack of essentials I get a quick breakfast ready for us. Devon is super excited about the Zoo. He tells us he wants to see penguins, which we told him we will definitely see. We finish breakfast and head out the door to Louri’s truck. We get the twins in their car seats and Devon in his booster seat. Louri then opens the door for me, which I kindly thank her with a kiss on the cheek and getting in. She walks over to the drivers side and gets in starting the truck and we leave the driveway and start our journey to the zoo.
