Louri’s POV

“Good morning Mrs. Hendricks.” I when she answers the phone.
“Good morning dear sorry for not calling to congratulate you on the twins.” She says.
“That’s fine Ma’am.” I tell her.
“How many times do I have to tell you to call me Mary?” She says.
“Right Mary. Um this sounds weird but Devon your Devon visited me in my dreams last night.” I tell her.
“Oh that doesn’t sound weird he visited me when your Devon was born.” She says.
“Well he wanted me to tell you that he loves you.” I tell her.
“Thank you for calling to tell me that means more than you know dear. Now don’t be a stranger I’m only an hour away.” Mary says.
“Of course Mary. Have a great day I have to drive Scarlett and the kids to the airport so Scarlett can finish filming her movie.” I tell her.
“Have a great day yourself and drive safe.” She says before hanging up.

I drove Scarlett and the kids to the airport. Devon decided he wanted to stay here with me which Scarlett and I agreed on him staying with me. Greg is coming over tomorrow Devon doesn’t know that yet Greg wants to surprise him since it’s been a while since  they have seen each other. Thankfully Devon’s nightmares have started to calm down which I am grateful for. I get a text from Scarlett when she lands and is at the rental letting me know they got there safe.

My Girl: Hey Babe we are at the rental Mom is here too so I will have some help with the twins. How are you and Devon doing?
Me: We are doing ok. We miss you already.
My Girl: I miss you too. I have to get to bed. I have an early call time. Good night Babe I love you and tell Devon I love him and tell him good night for me too.
Me: I will. Sleep well Baby I love you too. Give the twins a kiss for me.

Greg is coming over today and we are going to start on making the foundation of the workshop. I am currently eating cereal next to Devon who is also eating cereal. When the doorbell rings I call out saying it’s open knowing it’s Greg and just as we thought Devon is over the moon to see his Uncle Greggy. “UNCLE GREGGY!!! MAMA IT’S UNCLE GREGGY!!” Devon yells god that kid is adorable. “And I brought you something so you can help your Mama and I build the workshop.” Greg says and I roll my eyes. I should have known. He pulls a kids tool set out of his bag and gives it to Devon and a small hard hat to fit his small head. “Mama, can I open it?” He asks. “Of course you can. Now you can be Mama’s little helper.” I say ruffling his hair as I make my way to hug Greg. “Thanks for coming, I can't build a workshop on my own.” I tell him, making him chuckle. “Thanks for letting me help. I have needed a reason to get out of the house for a while. Now since I am still on medical leave. No more combat work for me.” He says, still his happy self. “Glad to see you are still your normal self.” I tell him.
