Louri’s POV
We get to the cast party and I get us both drinks before joining Scarlett at the table with everyone else. “Did you see what Mackey posted?” Lizzie asks Scarlett. “No, why?” Scarlett asks. “You should have a look.” Lizzie says so I pull out my phone and smile.

“You two are too cute.” Bri complements. “You really are.” Gwen says. “Thank you.” Scarlett says laying into my side. “This is a nice club.” I point out. “We are the MARVEL cast.” Lizzie says. “That’s true.” I chuckle before we hear gunshots and shouting and I tackle Scarlett to the ground. “EVERYONE DOWN!” I yell. “I FOUND THEM!!” A gunman says standing by our booth. “You are coming with us!” He yells pointing his gun at us. “Hey you don’t have to do this.” I tell him and get punched in the face. “We don’t want you.” He says. “And you aren’t taking them!” I yell at him standing directly in front of the barrel of his rifle. I see Chris and Hemsworth fighting this guys buddy. “You won’t win.” I tell him. “Move.” He growls. “No.” I tell him. “Move before I put you down!” He threatens. “Louri please just do what they say.” Scarlett cries. “I can’t do that Scarlett.” I tell her. “FOR FUCKS SAKE LOURI PLEASE!!” Scarlett screams. “You should listen to your wife, Colonel.” He spits and looks over to his buddy real quick but just long enough for me to sweep his legs out from under him. His gun goes off but I don’t think he hit anybody. I am able to rip the rifle out of his hands and knock him out with it. “He got Scarlett’s arm!” Lizzie yells, panic in her voice. “Ok hey look at me it’s just a graze ok you’ll be fine you’ll just need some stitches.” I tell her using my tie as a tourniquet. “Baby it’s a graze, ok you'll be ok.” I tell her but she won’t say anything she just slaps me across the face. “What the fuck Scarlett?” I say shocked. “YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN YOURSELF KILLED!!” She screams at me. “I WAS DOING WHAT I WAS TRAINED TO DO!” I yell back as the EMTs get there and take over taking care of Scarlett’s arm it wasn’t even bad enough that she had to go to the hospital. “JUMPING IN FRONT OF A GUN IS WHAT YOU WERE TRAINED TO DO!!” She screams. “IN A WAY YES! I WAS TRAINED TO PROTECT!! AND I MADE YOU A VOW TO KEEP YOU SAFE REMEMBER!” I yell holding up my left hand. “I just don’t want to lose you.” She says cupping my face in her hands. “I know but you won’t ok. I’m not going anywhere.” I tell her as I pull her into me. “I love you so much and when you put your body in the way of the gun I got scared. I can’t raise Devon and the girls on my own.” She cries. “You won’t have to. Do you want to go home, get changed then get the kids from Greg?” I ask. “I just want you to hold me.” She tells me. “I don’t think I am in the right mental state to get the kids right now.” She adds. “Hey, that's ok. Let’s go home and I won’t leave your side.” I tell her and she nods into my chest. We drive home and the second Scarlett is out of the truck she is attached to me like a maginte. We don’t even get changed out of the clothes we were wearing, we just fall into bed and our phones start to blow up with texts. “I’ve got it, don't worry.” I tell her as I pick up my phone.

Louri(Scarlett’s Bitch🪖): Scarlett was grazed in the arm. It wasn’t bad enough to need a hospital visit. She is currently sleeping and I would appreciate it if you left her and I alone for the next few days. Tonight was very stressful for everyone. Please stop blowing up Scarlett’s phone through the group chat or private messages she needs to rest.

Louri(Scarlett’s Bitch🪖): I was just doing my job goodnight everyone.

I sigh and put my phone away. Tonight didn’t go as expected then again you never expect two gunmen to come in and try to kidnap your wife and her co-stars for ransom. This is going to be all over the news. I just hope Devon doesn’t find out because then he’ll worry and he’s only five almost six. “Good night Baby. I’ll be right here when you wake up.” I tell Scarlett even though she is sound asleep.
