Chapter #68
Scarlett’s POV
We had a great day with everyone. Mary will be here tomorrow. I’m still worried about Louri. She hasn’t been that jumpy for a while. She was able to fall asleep before me and she starts muttering something. “Don’t.” She says. “Stop.” She mutters. “LOURI WAKE UP!” I yell and she jolts up. “What? What’s wrong?” She asks worriedly. “I should be asking you that.” I say and she looks at me confused. “You were muttering ‘don’t’ and 'stop’.” I tell her and she goes red. “Yeah um I wasn’t having a nightmare.” She says. “You were saying ‘don’t’ and oh then you were saying ‘don’t stop’.” I say as it clicks in my head. “Yeah you interrupted a very good dream.” She says rubbing the back of her neck. “You were having a sex dream.” I chuckle. “Well to be fair in the dream your head was between my legs and it felt good.” She says and I smirk. “You know I can make that a reality if you want. I do believe you offered to let me sit on your face. But how about this. You sit on mine and I make you feel good.” I husk pulling her closer. “I’m not against that.” Louri says then straddles my lap and connects our lips in a heated kiss but we are interupted by a small knock on the door. “Damn it, I’ll get it.” She says and gets up and walks over to the door and opens it revealing a not so happy looking Maya. “What’s wrong sweet heart?” Louri asks as she pick Maya up. “Couldn’t get in.” She says crying in Louri’s shoulder. “Sorry sweet pea we had the door locked. Scarlett she’s warm I think she’s got a fever.” Louri says rubbing Maya’s back. “Do you think it’s whatever that kid in the daycare had?” I ask. “Most likely. Do we have any children’s Tylenol? ” Louri asks. “Yeah I’ll get it and a wet cloth to help cool her down.” I say getting out of bed. “It’s gonna be ok Sweet heart.” I say as I walk past them as I head for the bathroom and Louri heads to sit on the bed. “I sorry.” Maya says why kids always apologizes when they get sick? “There’s nothing to apologize for. Everybody gets sick sometimes.” I tell her as I come out of the bathroom with a wet cloth to put on her neck. “Here sweetie I need you to take this.” I say holding up the medicine cup. “No icky.” She refuses. “Maya Honey I know it’s icky but it will help you feel better.” Louri says. “Your Mama is right sweetie.” I tell her and we are able to get her to take the medicine. Once she swallows it, her face scrunches up. “Yucky” she says. “I know but hopefully you’ll start feeling better soon,” Louri says, rubbing her back gently as she leans into Louri more. “I’m going to check on Louisa and Devon.” I tell Louri, making her nod. I walk into the girls room and Louisa is sleeping in her bed, I slightly close the bedroom leaving it cracked a little and go over to Devon’s room. He is also asleep which is a good sign. Hopefully they don’t get sick, having one sick baby is bad but all 3 of them at the same time would be awful. I head back to our bedroom and see Maya laying on the bed next to Louri. “Hey” Louri says as I walk over to the bed. “Hey, they’re both sleeping” I tell her. “That’s good, hopefully we can get her fever down” she tells me. “Me too,” I say, taking a seat next to them on the bed.

Louri’s POV
While Scarlett went to check on Louisa and Devon, I could see that Maya was getting upset. “Hey sweetie, what’s wrong?” I ask her. "I just don’t feel well Mama,” she says looking up at me with teary eyes. “Aww sweet pea, I know you don’t feel good but since we gave you the medicine it’s going to take some time to kick in.” I tell her, brushing some hair from her face. “Why don’t you lie down for a bit and close your eyes, I will rub your back to help you sleep. Getting some rest will also help you feel better,” I tell her. She nods and lays down on her side next to me as I gently rub her back. I softly hum to her as I rub her back. I see her eyes flutter close as I continue to rub her back to make sure she stays asleep. Scarlett walks back into the room a few minutes later letting me know that Louisa and Devon are both sleeping. She sits next to me on the bed. “How is she?” She asks. “Ok, she got a little upset when you walked out of the room saying she didn’t feel well but I told her that it will take a little bit of time for the medicine to kick in and I suggested she try to go to sleep so she can hopefully sleep it off.” I tell her. “I hope it’s just a cold,” Scarlett says as she looks over to Maya. “Me too,” I say as I grab a blanket and place it on Maya. I get up and walk into the bathroom and wash my hands and Scarlett does the same. “Maybe we should consider homeschooling them,” Scarlett says. “I think it would be a good idea, but I also don’t want them feeling left out on social activities” I voice my opinion outloud. “I agree, but I think there are home school programs where they take kids on small trips to museums and zoos so that way it’s still educational and they’re not couped up at home,” she tells me. “Hmm, that does sound like it would be a good idea,” I tell her. “Let me look into it more, I think RDJ’s kids and Hemsworth’s kids are homeschooled, I can talk to them and see what they do and we can go from there” she says, making me nod my head. “I think that would be good,” I say to her, giving her a kiss. “Sorry I couldn’t make you feel good,” she says in a low voice. “It’s ok, you’ll just have to make it up to me,” I say with a smirk. “Duly noted” she says, giving me a kiss. We walk back into our room and lay with Maya on our bed, hoping that when she wakes up she will feel better, even slightly we will take it.

A/N: poor Maya is sick, but hopefully she will feel better soon. See you guys in the next chapter-Chris
