Scarlett’s POV
“Ok Lor if you beat the god of thunder I will tell you something about Endgame.” Robert says. “OH FUCK YES!” She cheers. “Fuck yes.” Devon cheers with her. “Louri.” I scold. “Hehehehe I’m sorry.” She says. “Fuck fuck fuck fuck!” Devon runs around cheering. “Oh god.” I groan. “I love making you say that.” Louri smirks. “Ok, ready you two. Three two one westle!” Robert says. “Come on Louri!” I cheer. “You can do it Mama!” Devon yells. “HOLY SHIT!” Hemsworth groans as Louri starts to beat him. “WHOOO THAT’S HOW YOU DO IT!” She yells after kicking his ass. “Ok Robert spill does Wanda come back?” She asks. “Yes she does but that’s all I’m going to tell you.” He says. “Yes Lizzie you come back! Both my favorite characters will be reunited!” She says and Jeremy gives me a knowing look. (A/N Poor Louri she doesn’t know what’s about to happen.) “Mommy you do Mama now.” Devon says. “She already did!” Chris yells from the other side of the yard. “I don’t get it.” Devon says confused. “That’s ok little Marine plus I could never beat the Black Widow.” Louri says. “But you beat the god of thunder.” Devon says. “And the Black Widow is much more powerful than the god of thunder.” She tells him. “Really?” Devon asks me. “Yes really but you can’t tell anyone.” I tell him as Louri goes and slaps her brother on  the back of the head. “OW!” Chris yelps. “Why did Mama hit Uncle Chris?” Devon asks. “Because your Uncle said something he shouldn’t have.” I tell him. “But you guys say hitting isn’t allowed.” Devon says. “You are right it’s not I will talk to your Mama.” I tell him. “Ok.” He says and wanders off to play with Hemsworth's kids. “Hey Scarlett Louri said that I had to apologize for what I said or she would give me a wedgie.” Chris says. “And I will.” Louri growls from behind him. “Ah!” Chris shrieks jumping onto a chair. “Or you could glitter bomb his house again.” I say. “Oooooooo I like it.” Louri says with a grin. “You spend too much time together.” Chris states. “We live together and are married, remember.” Louri says in a duh tone. “Right. There is that.” Chris chuckles. “Get off my furniture.” Louri says. “Time for the fireworks!” Tom Holland yells before setting one off then another “TAKE COVER!!” Louri screams pulling me behind the patio couch.

Devon’s POV
Uncle Tommy is setting off the fireworks and Mama started yelling and pulling Mommy down behind the couch. “DEVON!!” Mama yells she must want me so I start to walk to her when Uncle Robert stops me. “Mama called for me.” I tell him. “SARGENT DEVON!! NO!!! NO!!” Mama cries. “Buddy she is reliving the death of the man you were named after.” Uncle Robert tells me. “How can she do that?” I ask. “It’s complicated and you will understand when you are older.” He tells me. “NO!! PLEASE!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!” Mama screams and she sounds really sad. “My Mama needs me.” I say trying to get out of Uncle Robert’s arms. “No, she doesn’t want you to see her like this.” He tells me. “I WANT MAMA!!”

Louri’s POV
“I WANT MAMA!!” Devon’s cries for me snap me out off the memory I was reliving. “I WANT MY MAMA!!” He cries again and I notice I am hovering over Scarlett. “There’s my Marine.” She says looking me in the eye. “MAMA!! I WANT MAMA!!” Devon screams. “There is a different Devon that needs me.” I say to Scarlett as I get up and help her up. The fireworks are still going off. I run to Robert and try to ignore the flashes of the mortar attack that Sargent Devon died in because my son needs me. I will take him inside. “I’m right here Buddy let’s go inside huh.” I tell him as I take him into my arms and he is sobbing. I run inside slamming the door behind me. I go and sit on the couch with Devon in my arms. “Shh it’s ok. I’ve got you.” I soothe. “Uncle Robert wouldn’t let me go to you when you were screaming.” He sniffles. “It’s not your job to take care of me. I really appreciate it but it’s my job to take care of you and keep you safe.” I tell him. I hear the door open and Scarlett going off on Holland. “WHAT THE FLYING FUCK WERE YOU THINKING SETTING OFF FIREWORKS AROUND A COMBAT VET!! NOT ONLY DID YOU HURT MY WIFE YOU HURT MY SON!!” She screams. “I’M NOT THE ONE YOU NEED TO FUCKING APOLOGIZE TO!! YOU DON’T KNOW THE HELL MY WIFE HAS BEEN THROUGH SHE HAS WALKED THROUGH HELL AND BACK!!! PLUS WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO BRING EXPLOSIVES ONTO MY PROPERTY!! GO INSIDE AND APOLOGIZE TO LOURI AND DEVON RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!” She yells. After a few minutes a pale Tom Holland comes in. “Louri I’m sorry I wasn’t thinking about how the fireworks would affect you and Devon sorry for scaring you.” Tom says sincerely. “You hurt my Mama.” Devon says. “But he apologized for it.” I tell him. “And I accept your apology. Next time there are going to be fireworks I need a heads up so I can go inside.” I tell him. “I will. Do you want me to leave?” He asks. “No Tom you don’t have to leave, just no more fireworks.” I tell him and he nods. “Mama, can we stay in here for a little bit?” Devon asks. “Of course little Marine.” I tell him and after about fifteen minutes he is out like a light so I put him to bed. “Hey, how are you?” Scarlett asks. “I’ve been better, I won't be sleeping well tonight.” I tell her honestly. “Robert is in our office crying.” She says. “Why?” I ask. “Holding Devon back from you brought up memories from the beach. I think you should talk to him.” She says. “Yeah that’s a good idea. Devon is asleep, I just put him down to bed.” I tell her before giving her a kiss and heading to the office. “Hey Robert.” I say walking in. “It was like the beach all over again.” He says through tears. “But no one is hurt, well no one is hurt physically.” I say. “I know but Scarlett’s screams are stuck in my head.” He says. “I know what you mean. I hear her screams in my sleep almost every night. It used to be every night but therapy has helped. Have you tried it?” I ask and he shakes his head. “Maybe you should. It’s ok to ask for help Robert.” I tell him with my hand on his shoulder. “How did you get so wise?” He asks. “I’ve been through a lot of shit.” I tell him. “Yes you have.” He nods.

A/N
Well that happened. But it’s true it’s ok to ask for help. It's scary and hard to do. It makes you feel vulnerable but it is one of the bravest and strongest things you can do. Anygays see you in the next one.
