Louri’s POV
I’m in my office trying to find my vows that I wrote the night Scarlett and I agreed to do our wedding when my deployment in Germany was over but I can’t find them. “FUCK!” I yell. “DAMN IT!!” I yell as I look through another drawer. “FOR FUCKS SAKE!!” I yell as I get no luck in the next one. “Hey! What is going on here?” Scarlett asks, seeing the complete mess I’ve made. “I can’t find them.” I tell her. “Find what honey?” She asks. “My vows I wrote them the night we agreed to have a wedding after my deployment. I put them somewhere safe then forgot where that safe place is.” I say and she laughs. “Why are you laughing?” I ask and she points to my desk. “Would they happen to be in the envelope marked wedding vows.” She chuckles. “Yes.” I laugh. “Would you like to know what your son did earlier?” She asks. “What did he do?” I ask. “So you know how he loves to video call with his grandparents.” She says. “Yes.” I say. “Well he was talking to my Mom when Gizmo jumped into his lap.” She says. “Please tell me he didn’t say it.” I say, trying not to laugh. “He did. To my mother then I got an earful about it. He’s five Lor and he keeps telling people that Gizmo is your pussy. Talk to him please explain that Gizmo is a boy cat so he can’t call him a pussy.” She says. “I will and I’m so sorry.” I apologize. “You owe me a kiss.” She smiles. “I can do that.” I say pulling her in for a kiss. “And I will clean up the mess I promise.” I tell her. “Thank you, it looks like the Tasmanian devil came in here.” She says, making me laugh she’s not wrong. “Where is he?” I ask. “In the living room with your brother.” She says. “Chris is here?” I ask. “Yep, he showed up this morning. Said he needed Uncle time.” She says. “Yeah that sounds like him.” I say and walk to the living room. “Hey little Marine, can we talk?” I say walking in seeing him and Chris building something out of legos. “Am I in trouble for saying pussy again?” He asks and Chris’s jaw drops. “Devon Gizmo is a boy cat so you can’t call him that. Ok and no you aren’t in trouble just don’t say that word.” I tell him, kneeling down to his height. “Ok I won’t say that word anymore.” He says. “Pinky promise?” I ask, holding out my pinky. “Pinky promise.” He smiles, linking his pinky with mine. “Can I go back to playing with Uncle Chrissy?” He asks. “Of course, have fun.” I say giving him a kiss on the head. “Hey Louri I heard back from Robert about the homeschooling thing and he recommended the same program he uses.” Scarlett says. “Well if he trusts it then I trust it because I trust him.” I tell her. “Great, I'll give them a call and get Devon enrolled in that program.” She says. I go back to the office and clean up my mess. I go into the kitchen to grab an energy drink since it’s past 10, not too early. “Hey Marine, what do you think you are doing? No energy drinks till 12 remember.” Scarlett says popping out of nowhere. “How do you know?” I ask. “Because I know my wife.” She smiles. “It’s past 10 can I have it please?” I ask. “No you can have coffee or this.” She says handing me a pack of gum. “How is gum going to help?” I ask. “It’s caffeine gum. I say it at the store and I read the ingredients and it’s a little healthier than your energy drinks.” She says. “Ok I’ll try it. Thank you for looking out for me Baby.” I say then I realize I didn’t jump when Scarlett popped out of nowhere. “Babe what is it?” She asks. “I didn’t jump. I’m always jumpy after a night that I have a nightmare or if I’m having a bad day. But I never jump when it’s you.” I say. “Now that you’ve pointed it out you are right you’ve never jumped when it’s me.” She says. “I guess it’s just another sign that we are meant to be.” I smile. “FUCK!” Devon yells. “Louri.” Scarlett groans, dropping her head into my shoulder. “I’ve given up on correcting him.” I say. “Honestly me too.” She says. “I’ve got to go to the set. I will be home later. We've got a night shoot today.” Scarlett says. “Ok. Don’t overwork yourself. I love you.” I say. “I love you too My Marine.” She says, making me smile. “I’ve got the day off so I’ll just hang with the kids.” I tell her. “You are talking about your brother too aren’t you?” She chuckles. “Yes yes I am.” I laugh. “Drive safe Baby.” I tell her, giving her a kiss before she leaves. “Ok children. Movie and ice cream party time.” I hear Chris say oh god. “Chris really?” I ask walking into the living room. “I got your favorite so hush.” He says. “Well in that case.” I say.

Scarlett’s POV
“I have to ask him to do what?” I ask Noah. “Scarlett it’s acting plus we aren’t going to show anything you just say it.” Noah says. “You’re right it’s just a line.” I say. I am filming the scene where I’m making out with some guy I met at a party. “Finger me.” I say. “What?” He asks. “I’m changing a lot of my life. I want you to finger me.” I say. “Ok.” He says and we go back to making out well fake making out. “Ok cut that was perfect.” Noah says. Thank god I don’t want to film that scene again. “Ok everyone that’s it for today.” Noah says and I get out of costume as fast as I can. I feel dirty and disgusting and a little violated from that scene. I know it’s fake but I can’t help but feel like I cheated on Louri. I get in my car and just drive home. I see a light on in the living room of course she waited up for me. “Hey Baby how was it? What happened?” Louri asks, setting her drink down and running to wrap her arms around me and I melt into her. “I didn’t want to do it Louri.” I just sob. “What happened?” She asks worriedly. “I should have said no.” I say. “Scarlett what happened?” She asks. “I am so sorry.” I tell her. “Scarlett, did someone hurt you?” She asks. “No, I hurt you.” I say letting my emotions get the best of me. “What  are you talking about?” She asks, confused. “I cheated on you.”
Louri’s POV
“Hey Baby how was it? What happened?” I ask worriedly as I put my drink down and run to her and wrap my arms around her and she melts into my touch “I didn’t want to do it Louri.” She sobs. “What happened?” I ask worried that someone had hurt her. “I should have said no.” She says. “Scarlett what happened?” I ask a little more sternly. “I am so sorry.” She says. “Scarlett, did someone hurt you?” I ask very worried at this point. “No, I hurt you.” She says now I’m confused. “What are you talking about?” I ask confused. “I cheated on you.” She says and all that worry turns to pain and anger. “What?” I cry. “GET OUT!!” Chris’s voice booms. I forgot he was staying the night. “Please let me explain.” Scarlett says and I want to hear her out but Chris goes full big brother mode. “GET OUT SCARLETT!! YOU PROMISED YOU WOULD NEVER HURT HER!! YOU ARE PLANNING A FUCKING WEDDING!! OUT NOW!!” He yells and she grabs her keys and leaves. “AGH!!!” I scream in pure pain as I flip the coffee table over. “Chris, she said she was willing to explain.” I say. “What is there to explain? She said it herself, she cheated.” He says angrily. “Mama?” Devon asks. “Hey little Marine, I'm going out to clear my mind. Will you be good for your Uncle Chris?” I ask him and he nods. I go to the beach I always go to and I see Scarlett’s car. “I made a promise to talk things out. I force myself out of the truck and I hear sobs and thuds. I look down at the beach and see Scarlett punching the hell out of the rock cliff that’s on one side of this part of the beach.I grab my medic bag and I run down and put her in a restraint hold. “Stop Baby stop.” I plead as she tries to fight back. “Fuck my hand hurts.” She says crying. “You were beating the hell out of a rock cliff. What did you expect? Let me take a look.” I say when she  stops fighting back. “How did you know I'd be here?” She asks as I bandage her hand. “I didn't, I just needed to clear my head and this is the place that I go to. So did you really have a night shoot or was that an excuse?” I ask the pain evident in my voice. “I did have a night shoot. I was filming this scene and I had to pretend to make out with another actor and my character had this line that I wish I didn’t say I wish I didn’t do the scene I feel like I cheated.” She sobs. “Wait. Baby that’s not cheating. Did you sleep with this person?” I ask. “No.” She sniffles. “Did you actually kiss him or were you acting?” I ask. “I was acting.” She says. “Oh Baby. You didn’t cheat on me, you did your job. Come here.” I say pulling her into me and she cries. “I felt disgusted and violated because of that scene. It felt like I was betraying you.” She cries. “Did Noah force you to do this scene?” I ask, my protective side coming out. “No, I agreed to do it. I just regretted it the second they said action.” She says. “Will you come home?” I ask her. “You aren’t upset with me?” She asks. “No Baby. I’m upset with one Chris two Noah for making you uncomfortable and violated.” I tell her. “I love you. I would never cheat on you, you’re my Marine.” She says. “Come on. I don’t think your hand is broken, just cut up and bruised.” I say picking her up bridal style. “I love you, Louri.” She says. “I love you too.” I say helping her into my truck and I drive us back to the house. “WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE!? SHE’S AN ADULTEROUS BITCH!!” Chris yells and I punch him square in the jaw. “She didn’t cheat Chris, she felt like she did because of a scene she filmed today. Get the fuck out of my house!” I yell and he looks shocked and leaves mumbling an apology on the way out. “Come on, let me bandage your hand properly and go to bed.” I tell Scarlett and she nods. “I’ll talk to Noah tomorrow.” I say. “No, it's my job. I just need to be able to separate work from my private life. I love that you want to protect me but I can handle myself and I can deal with this.” She says as I take care of her hand. “Ok. You don’t tell me how to do my job so I won’t tell you how to do yours.” I tell her leaning to kiss her which she melts into.
