Lily Scott was the bane of Sebastian Vettel's life. The Ice Queen of the paddock had taken his seat, she'd taken his sanity...he was damned if he was going to let her take his heart.
Lily Scott wasn't the person the world thought she was. On t...

The adays that followed were some of the most hectic days that Seb had experienced in a long time. Everywhere he went there were journalists firing questions at him, photographers shoving their lenses in his face.
They all wanted to know who the woman he loved was. Was it Lily Scott? Nothing had ever been confirmed to them about the photograph from Melbourne, so they were all curious as hell to find out if Lily was the one that had won his heart, and ultimately brought about his retirement.
He and Lily had agreed before they'd parted company on media day to say nothing and to stay away from each other at Zandvoort, as hard as it was now their future together had been decided. Lily need to get her new contract sorted out first, and then they'd decide where to go from there.
One thing was for certain though, they were done with staying away from each other away from the track. They would be spending as much time together as they could.
There would be no time between Zandvoort and Monza however as it would be a very busy time for Lily. She had to got to Maranello, then she had two nights of sponsor dinners, and then it would be straight into the Grand Prix weekend.
A bout of food poisoning affecting one of Ferrari's lawyers had meant Lily's contract meeting had been delayed. It would now be happening at Monza on media day rather than announcing it then. Mattia had told her that it would most likely be announced at Suzuka.
The race in the Netherlands had mixed fortunes for them both. Seb had been quite pleased to finish in fifth place after starting from ninth.
Lily had been majorly disappointed with her eighth place. Max had won again, and got the fastest lap, so she was now forty five points adrift.
They'd managed to sneak half an hour alone in Seb's motorhome before Lily had set off for home. She was flying straight back that night so she could be at Maranello bright and early.
They'd sat on the sofa kissing and cuddling, knowing that half an hour was nowhere near enough time for what they actually wanted to do. Frustrating as it was, they would have to wait until after Monza.
Once Lily had left Seb had called his parents, knowing he owed them an explanation. He'd warned them in advance of his retirement, but they didn't know the seriousness of his and Lily's relationship. He just hoped they wouldn't blame her for him giving up his career. It wasn't Lily's fault. It was Ferrari's fault if anyones. And it had been his choice. Lily had known nothing about it until it was a done deal.
To his delight, both of his parents had been over the moon to hear that he and Lily were going to be going official, either when she signed her contract or at the end of the season. His mother was even getting ahead of herself and mentioning wedding bells and grandchildren.
He fell asleep that night with a big smile on his face, happier than he had been in along time. Lily loved him. He knew she did, and soon she would tell him.
