As I'm such a generous man, I've decided to give you another chance Lily, but if I keep seeing you and Vettel all over each other I may not stay so forgiving. I hope you like the flowers. They'll be the last for a while, got some busy times ahead. The next time I will deliver them myself. Til then beautiful xx
Lily was shaking as she dumped the large bouquet of white roses into the kitchen bin.
Seb was currently out at the shop, having decided he fancied some cheesecake for pudding that night as it was his cheat day. She knew he'd go beserk when he found out she'd received more flowers and yet another note.
Should she put the flowers straight into the outdoor bin? Hide the note? No. She wasn't going to hide things from Seb. He needed to know what was going on. She just didn't want him getting stressed out and angry about it. He should be enjoying his final days in Formula 1, not worrying about her.
"We'll be off now Lily!" came Antti's voice from the hallway. She'd forgotten that Antti and Luca had been in the gym having a light work out. It was hers and Seb's day off but the two trainers were seemingly allergic to rest.
"Ok, see you both in the morning," she called out in reply. She heard the front door open and close.
She walked out into the hallway, shaking her head as she heard the booming bass of Joel's music blasting out upstairs. Was he deaf?
Maybe she should start packing some stuff for her move. Maybe that would take her mind off of things for a little while.
She was only taking her personal stuff. All the furniture she'd bought would be donated to charity, she had no need for it. The Scott mansion and Seb's house were already fully furnished.
She grabbed a cardboard box from the stack that had been made up and piled at the back of the lounge. Then she began to pack some things into it...the framed photo Seb had given her for her birthday, a photo she'd had framed of the pair of them on Gladden Island, photos of her father.
She'd filled half of the box when she heard the front door open and close.
"Lily, I'm home." She smiled. She knew she could never get bored of hearing him say that. Home. She still couldn't believe they were living together.
"In the lounge!" she called out.
Seb soon walked through the door, looking as gorgeous as ever in pair of navy blue shorts and a white T-shirt.
"You're packing already? Bored? If you are I have an idea how we could relieve the boredom," he said cheekily.
"It's less we have to do after Abus Dhabi," she replied.
"I got a strawberry cheesecake, and some of those mini chocolate donuts you like."
"Thank you." Seb sat down on the sofa just behind where she was sat on the carpet.
"What's wrong?" he asked, picking up her low mood in the tone of her voice and the fact that she'd ignored his flirting.
"Seb...more flowers came."
Seb sighed and clenched his fist. He really wanted to know who was doing this. He hated seeing Lily scared and upset. He was her boyfriend, it was his job to protect her. "Was there a note?" he asked, trying to stay calm.
"Yes. I left it on the kitchen table." Seb stood up and marched into the kitchen. He picked the note up and read it.
"This is getting beyond a joke," he said aloud. Back in Mexico they'd reported the Instagram messages to the police, but as Lily had predicted, they'd done nothing.
