A/N: This chapter starts the previous day, just after Lily fled the hotel.

Lily ran and ran, totally oblivious to the heavy rain that
had saturated her clothing.  She had no idea where she was going, her body was acting on auto pilot.

How could Seb have said such things to her? Seb, the man that said he loved her, the man she loved so much.  Her heart was aching, maybe it was even breaking.   She was done, she couldn't do this.  Maybe it would be for the best if the team did put Stoffel in.

After running for what felt like hours, she finally stopped and bent over, her hands on her knees, gasping for breath.

After a few minutes she straightened up and began to walk. She walked and walked, covering several kilometres. Finally, she stopped and looked up at the building in front of her.   It was the one place in Melbourne she knew she'd never forget, the one place she just knew she'd had to come to.

She stood and just stared at the imposing edifice before her, then finally began to walk towards it,  veering to the right at the last moment.  It felt like she had no control of her own movements, like something was pulling her in and she could not stop.

Following the path around,
she finally found what she was being drawn to.

She stopped and reached a hand out and touched the white marble stone, reading the familiar words, and the not so familiar words that had been added since her last visit there.

Beloved son and brother

Goodbye is not forever. Goodbye is not the end. It simply means I'll miss you until we meet again.

It had been two and a half months since they'd laid Damon to rest. The soil was now nearly covered in new grass, with just the odd patch of brown here and there. A bouquet of flowers lay at the foot of the headstone. Lily looked at card that was attached to it.

Missing you both,
love Daisy x

She bit down on her bottom lip as her eyes began to fill with tears.

The rain began to fall a little heavier, but Lily didn't care. She couldn't get any wetter than she already was. Her top and jeans were clinging to her like a second skin.

She ran her fingers over the front of the headstone, tracing each letter in her father's name.

"I miss you so much," she gasped, her tears spilling from her eyes and joining the rivulets of raindrops already streaming down her face. "You'd know what to do. You always knew what to do."

She closed her eyes, and in her mind she could see him. Michael Scott, her father. The first man she'd ever loved. His blonde hair that was so like Joel's. His blue eyes that were so like hers. His larger than life smile.
