"I'm pulling that ponytail out tonight" Flau'jae said over FaceTime before I gave her the side eye
"I need this hair to last for a week so tread lightly" I said before she shrugged not paying me no mind
"I don't care" she said stating the obvious as I watched her move around, "Who all there with you?"
"My makeup artist, Endyia and Markeivia" I said flipping my camera around for her to see
"Damn y'all deep in there" she said before I chuckled a little at how dramatic she is
It's only 4 of us in here.
"We not and you need to be getting ready. Why you laying down?"
"Don't start" she said giving me a warning, "Please don't start"
"No cause you know how you get when you gotta be somewhere" she cut me off by clearing her throat and I just looked
"I'll see you when I see you, I love you"
"I love you too" I said before the phone hung up and I shook my head
Tonight is my party and I'm so excited to celebrate. All of my friends from back home are coming, so I'm ready to turn up.
I just finished getting my makeup done so all I need to do is put on my clothes. Every year I'm excited to celebrate my birthday because everybody show love.
"You did your big one, thank you again" I said to my makeup artist as she walked out of my door
"Of course baby, have fun tonight bye" the door closed before I locked it and went back to my room
"I'm so fucking lit tonight" I said with excitement in my voice
"Yeah, we going up tonight" my best friend, Endyia said before I nodded
"We got a hour until my driver get here" I said because neither of us had on our clothes
"Alright, and when was you gone tell me you and Flau'jae was together?" Endyia asked causing a smile to appear on my face
"What you mean?" I asked now forcing my smile to go away
"When was you gone tell me?" she said looking at me like I was crazy
"Cause that phone call did not give platonic relationship" Markeivia added and Endyia agreed with her
"We been together for two months, three tomorrow"
"That's crazy cause I'm your best friend and you ain't even tell me" Endiya said and I could tell she was a little hurt by it
"I'm sorry" I smiled before she rolled her eyes and grabbed her clothes going to the bathroom
"Angel you wild" Markeivia said before I laughed
In the next hour they won't even feel no type of way about it no more
By the time we was done getting ready my driver was here and we left. The drive to where the party was being held took about fifteen minutes max. The door to the truck swung by one of the security guards and he grabbed my hand helping me out.
The photographers that I hired to take pictures were snapping photos back to back. I'm just so excited and know everyone can see the joy that I have on my face.
I made it in the building and I was immediately approached by Flau'jae who had bouquet of pink roses. We shared a hug and of course left out the kiss, but it's okay because once I get in my mood the party is over.
"Thank you my love" I thanked her before smelling them and I watched as she examined me
"I'm tearing you up as soon as we leave" she whispered in my ear and it abruptly sent chills down my back, "I swear to god"
I pushed her back because everybody gone get flashed if she keep whispering in my ear
"Move because I'm tempted" I said before she started laughing and we walked further into the building
Everybody was everywhere and lit, music was jumping, and liquor bottles was scattered. The first thing I did was pour me a cup because I'm tryna be out of my body.
A hour and a half passed by, I was drunk. People were coming up on the mic expressing their love and appreciation for me, which is thoughtful.
"Aww thank you cousin" I said pulling my cousin into a long tight hug. She lives back in Baltimore, so I only see her virtually.
I hate that for us because she's my favorite cousin
"Your welcome"
"I hope everybody spoke cause I wanna get into some of these gifts" I admitted before I did a little twerk and received laughs
I opened some of the gifts that were on the table and I was surprised by them. They ate with the gifts and I didn't tell anybody what I wanted.
I will say that they know that I'm an expensive person.
"I already got a outfit in mind for this, this is so cute" I said holding up the purple Louis Vuitton purse Flau'jae got for me
"You better rock that motherfucker til the leather fall off" she said making us both laugh
"Thank you, Flau'jae" I said before she eyed me and I laughed already knowing she don't like me calling her by her name
"Not too much" she said being serious, "You know I had to go all out so I got your other gifts at the house"
We finished up with opening a few gifts before going back to what we were doing before. I made my way back over to the bar and took two more shots.
"You turned up tonight" the bartender said before I laughed stumbling a little while walking away
As I made my way over to where my friends were I got pulled in the opposite direction.
"Come here" I heard Flau'jae say as she guided me into a ducked off corner where a table was. She pulled me down onto her lap and placed her hand on my thigh
She was just staring at me while biting down on her bottom lip. I'm tryna hold it together, but she not making it easy.
"What baby?" I asked planting a kiss on her lips before she pulled me into a deeper kiss
"You look so damn good, mama" she complimented me while rubbing on my thighs before approaching my inner thigh
"Thank you"
"You drinking heavy as hell, what you ate?" she asked and I shrugged laughing before I begin to kiss her neck
"I want you to eat me" I muttered bluntly causing her to chuckle and her eyes let me know that she was on demon time, "Let's go"
Fuck the party cause it ain't mine no more and they can have everything in here.
