Since the summer is close to an end the LSU basketball team decided to have a team get together. Including the alumni, and of course we invited other people outside of us.
It's basically a public get together, so the whole building is packed.
"I'm ready for the season to start, we finna run it back" Kateri said before we all agreed with her
"On some bully shit" Mani said while drinking from her cup
"And our transfers eat, we got enough pieces to get another championship, for real" I said excitedly just thinking about it
I'm really eager for the season to start.
"I want to go to Jamaica for our team trip" Poa said changing the subject
"Mulkey said she wanna go there anyway, so we might end up going there"
"We definitely going there then" Sa'Myah said while looking around, "It's a lot of people here, damn"
"On God, I wasn't expecting the whole Louisiana to come out" Kateri said while looking around too
"If it got LSU on it they all in"
I sat around and talked some more before I parted ways with them.
"The famous Angel Reese" this boy said causing me to look up making us both laugh a little
"I'm not famous" I said glancing at him as he smiled
"Who you telling?" He said coming closer to me as I looked up at him, "You the goat, shawty"
"Thank you, thank you"
"Yeah, and why your folks piled up in the corner over there?" He pointed at the table with my team mates and I chuckled
"Most of them around here, but them specifically they're eating" I said before he placed his hand on my hip and I moved back making him move his hand
I looked away for a second and ended up locking eyes with Flau'jae. She motioned her finger for me to come to her.
My heart is in my ass because I know she's about to act up. Jesus take the wheel.
"Word, but let me get your number" he said before I hummed a little nervously
"I'm not single" I said before he sucked his teeth and gave me a look
"You lying, and now I gotta run game for real"
"You don't have to run game" I chuckled at the effort he was putting in
"Then don't give me a hard time, just let me get your number" he said while looking down at his phone not paying attention
He's doing all of this and I'm just gonna give him a fake number. I looked over just to see Flau'jae quickly making her way over to me.
For a second everything started to move in slow motion before it went back to normal.
"You must want me to show my bare ass, I'm finna embarrass you" Flau'jae said once she got to me
"I'm no —" she cut me off by grabbing me and pulling me with her
She pulled me outside of the building into the parking lot. It was a few people out there just talking
