Moon goddess.

Her ethereal beauty was far from what I had imagined. Her hair was as white as mine, her skin, the most luminous I have ever seen. Her delicate blue eyes was otherworldly and her gaze kept me in a trance like state. I had never seen the moon goddess before, only heard her voice which was like a whisper.

"Ralia!" She called, walking towards me. I wasn't in the cell that he detained me in but in a place that was totally different. It was crystal clear, with the grass green and the sky, the bluest I had seen. It was like I was in a dream, an ethereal realm.

"Where am i?" I asked her, scared that I had crossed over but a smile remained on her face, assessing my features.

"You're still in the cell, but your consciousness is here with me, in the ethereal realm," she answered simply.

"How is that possible?" I asked.

"It's because of what's in you. The power allowed your essence to meet mine. Don't be scared Ralia, you're not dead. You're still in the cell. You fell unconscious after he injected that liquid in you,"

"How can I leave from here?" I asked again.

"You leave whenever you're ready to," the moon goddess answered.

She adjusted her white flowing gown and sat on the green grass before she motioned for me to do the same as well.

"Your mother and I had a pact which I know she must have mentioned to you," she began.

"To tell the truth, I wasn't the one who chose you for you must wonder why it wasn't your brother. The earth and the moon did. Every two thousand years, a child is born and that child must be of celestial blood. The past two thousand years was when I was chosen by the moon. I was still a little girl and knew nothing about the power I could harness. It was the fifth element, aether. One that surpasses all other elements. The celestial beings have always sought it, they knew the power and what it meant to harness the fifth element. I grew up like all other kids my age and when I got bored, I decided to visit earth. The place was so natural and with the power within me, I created the Aos sidhe and there, they regarded me as mother. I spent some of my time there before I got bored again.

There was a lonely man who was the outcast of his village. I watched from afar and I fell in love with him. I knew the rule as no celestial being was allowed to earth, let alone fall in love but I followed my heart. There were consequences for my actions and that yielded a son. The first ever Lycan. I knew the moment I had conceived of him that he was something different. When the love of my life died, I left from earth and back to the celestial realm"

I was amazed at the tale she told and how the first ever Lycan came into being. It also meant that Roux and his sister are both of celestial blood and a relative of the moon goddess.

"My son caused much havoc than I could expect. Through his bite, he turned many humans to the lesser kind, the werewolves. He was the one through king, he let people believe as the humans suffered and I couldn't watch it. Even as he was my son, I couldn't let all his wrong doings go unpunished. The people of my kind laughed at my mistake and with the rage that I felt, I ended his life, same with the army he had created, leaving only his son Lucan who was different from the rest.

I thought of a new rein and as the moon would have it, I fell in love again with a human but I didn't have a child with him. I had to go but before I left, I gave him a gift. My blood and enough for him to give people all over the world that he could trust. It would be a different rein. With my blood, he became the first Lycan after my son's rein and formed the white moon pack, the pack had all of my blessings. With the remaining blood left, he traveled far and wide, giving out my blood to people he found fit. They formed packs with the humans they had bitten who later became werewolves.
