The Elements.
The day was a mess and I couldn't take my mind off the fact that Anna was kidnapped or taken. It all doesn't make sense. She's a Lycan, she's supposed to fight them off or something.
After Diana had taken me back yesterday, I didn't get to see her again due to the fact that I've locked myself in since then. I got to eat the food that was sent for me but it didn't stop me from worrying or thinking about Anna.
Roux was attending meetings with the council, Dylan, gone with the warriors to look for Anna while I was here feeling like a burden and it didn't help matters.
I needed to be useful, to find her even if it means I go alone and also, do it secretly.
The books, they were scattered on the bed. I wanted to finish them as soon as I could, know now more about the elements so I could use it to my advantage. The fifth element was still something that was bugging me. I wanted to know more about it but in the books, there was little, all repeating the same thing.
The air and earth were the easiest to manipulate.
The earth book explained the beginning and how the Aos sidhe who were blessed with earth could manipulate the ground, grow plants and were connected to everything that has to do with nature. Talking to animals and being the ones to tame them.
The air book took off from where the earth stopped. It explained more about the air sidhe. They could manipulate the air, become invisible. The air sidhe were adventurers and through out the book, it talked about their adventures.
The fire sidhe were known for their red hair and angry outbursts. They could manipulate fire which was seen as dangerous. The fire sidhe can walk through fire, melt steel and cause steam. The book went on about how the fire was strong and would win any war. The only element that could defeat it was water but the water sidhe didn't like to cause trouble.
The water sidhe were known for their quiet nature and sea blue eyes. They were the healers. They control water and ice. Their song the most beautiful and they could also breathe under water. They spend most of their time gathering pearls and creating medicines. The book on water sidhe was smaller than that of the air, earth and fire. They were mysterious and loved to keep to themselves.
I went on to the book on channeling. It explained how each sidhe channeled their element. The first step to the channeling was entering the channel pool. To the Aos sidhe. The channel pool enhances the element but without knowing how to bring about it, it was useless.
The air sidhe channel their element by thinking of things that make them happy, the earth was to connect with nature. The fire, they channel by using their darkest fear and those who are more dangerous channel with the thought to destroy. The water channel with concentration, imagining their selves in water and being one with it.
After I dropped the book, I closed my eyes and imagined my self in water swimming and just then, the blood in my veins quickened and water droplets started coming from the floor. It feat was enough to lighten my mood and put a smile on my face. I was one step closer to defeating him, whoever he was and rescuing Anna.
I lost concentration with the banging sound on the door. I left from my position to see who it was.
His scent was comforting as he embraced me. It was just yesterday I had seen him but he felt like I haven't seen him for a long time. He pecked my cheek after he had released me before he took a sniff of my scent that was like heaven to him.
We both went and sat on the bed after I had cleared the books that were littered.
"I missed you!" I confessed. I didn't get to say another word as he captured my lips. It told me everything, his restlessness, desperation. The kiss was rough and at the same time passionate. I kissed him back with the same intensity before I felt his lips on my neck, nuzzling his mark with his tongue. We were in that state that I lost track of time.
