Chapter 30- Check-up

The other university students were whispering about me again and staring at me. Unlike me who's still on a reality show, they attend classes as normal. This also means that they can look through the internet like normal. This was a factor that worried me.

But I didn't try to listen in. Not that they were allowed to say anything about what was going around the internet near me without a hefty fine. On most occasions they'd talk and get fined when caught talking about the other contestants' relationships with me. This mostly included meetings and groups of contestants treating me as an outcast in their social circles or talking smack about me.

I've watched reality shows in the past and knew that I would only be kicked off the show if I purposefully listened in. There would also be other punishments for myself and the people that were talking other than fines. I could make it look like I accidentally overheard things, but that's just a risk that I knew I shouldn't take.

Acknowledging that I returned to the show's dorms to go to sleep.

It was only when I woke up that I received a notice that I'd have a check up at 10pm that day.

Unbeknownst to me, the viewers who'd watched the mafia show were pissed off on behalf of myself and weren't judging me like I thought. No, only the other contestants and people on the show were judging me. Maybe it was because they couldn't look me up. But most people on the show were being obliterated by the viewers for essentially shunning and talking behind my back. They concluded that they reacted like that to promote themselves to the viewers. It only served to disgust the viewers more.

At this point I had more than just the people that I met in my life watching solely me. I didn't know this though. But it was the important factor that berated the show for not doing a check up for me at the start of the program like they were supposed to. In fact, that dance teacher that taught me had been sent to prison for not getting me to do a health check up.

So when 10pm came, not only my viewers, but other passersby who heard the kind sick girl who healed a famous person would get a health check like she deserves, came to watch the process.

Time ticked by as they took my blood and ran tests on me.

The viewers typed to document everything that was happening, but I couldn't see any of it whilst waiting for my report. It wasn't something that was part of my world yet. This world seemed to focus on its separation of certain stages in people's lives, so there was no point in wondering about certain things too much. Passing the rounds seems to be the most important mental clutch to me. Other strangers and events came secondary.

-I seriously don't get why they do this?! It takes sooo long?

- They have to do this, also it normally takes ten minutes. Normal health check ups for these shows are quick, but Aeon's clearly sick. They also didn't do it before for her. So it's long and she has to wait for the results with us.

- Everyone's so serious here.

- Can't help it. Our kitten was hungry and had to hide the blood she coughed up to get a meal.

- A show can only be watched carefreely if stuff like this is done.

- It was about how she saved a police officer and the people on a construction site. The commenter said she was about six years old and asked for work. Eventually she became close to his daughter who was about a year younger than her and his wife. Others also became close to her, but she was nosey and helped out his family a lot. Apparently he was worried when he heard about people trying to cheat her out of education and how she's just gotten better at hiding her illness now. He said it was due to her mother going into a poisonous dungeon knowing that the Aeon would take the most damage in her foetus form. After that someone brought up evidence of the dungeon and poison her mother visited when pregnant with Aeon. There were even videos...
