Sunoo's POV

Before I could go outside the door to see where the screams were coming from, Garam pulled me to a spot on the floor and told me to sit and stay quiet. Not aware of what's happening, I decided to just obey her. Through the studio door came three boys, with girls screaming and tailing them from behind.

''So that's where the screams were coming from'' I whispered to them.

''I'll introduce them to you, they are the ''Aces'' of Gangnam College. These three have become renowned for their exceptional abilities, they're the most popular students in this school'' My eyes widened after hearing Chaewon's words.

As the boys sat on the floor, Garam continued to introduce them to me. ''The one in the middle is Lee Heeseung, the sporty one.'' While pointing at the boy with grayish-silver hair. ''He's known for being good at almost everything. He doesn't stick to only one area for his activity, he participates in everything so you might see him often when you're doing your activities'' Garam added. Heeseung looks serious and scary, those were my first impressions when I saw him.

''The boy on the right is Yang Jungwon, he's a martial artist and has competed in many martial sports-related contests. But one thing that really stands out within him is that he is super outgoing and approachable, the other two may seem cold and affectionless, but not Jungwon'' Chaewon whispered to me. He really does look very social, I hope that we get along well by some chance.

Garam then introduced the last boy ''Then the last one, on the left, is Park Sunghoon, a professional ice skater. He competed in the ISU Junior Grand Prix in Estonia and won two large trophies because of his incredible skills''. Chaewon also added ''Among the three, he's the least interactive''. Sunghoon had a very graceful face, very fitting for an ice skater.

My excitement reached new heights. The prospect of joining forces with such multi-talented individuals fueled my determination to explore the world of dance alongside them. Although, the thought of interacting with such multi-talented aces is still distressing.

While we were still talking, the door swung open, revealing a figure that commanded respect and attention amongst the other students in the room, as they immediately stood up and bowed after seeing the figure. Garam signaled me to get up and bow too. I saw Chaewon and Garam exchange excited glances.

Chaewon whispered to me, "That's Mr. Jung Ji-Hoon, the experienced and strict dance instructor of Gangnam National College. Known for his high standards and rigorous training, he was a respected authority in the dance community. He has honed the skills of countless dancers, and his classes are renowned for their intensity and discipline. We're in for an incredible learning experience!"

My heart pounded as I observed Mr. Jung's eyes, full with confidence and discerning gaze. The aura of expertise and seriousness that surrounded him made it clear that this dance journey would be challenging but rewarding.

Chaewon, Garam, and I took our places behind the aces, ready to embark on this dance adventure. The room fell into a hushed anticipation as Mr. Jung addressed us, his voice commanding attention.

"Welcome, dancers," Said Mr. Jung, his voice resonating with authority. "In this studio, you will face challenges, push your limits, and strive for excellence. I demand nothing less than your utmost commitment and dedication. Are you ready?" As nerve-racking as this was, I still managed to let out a small ''Yes'' to respond.

I watched as Mr. Jung summon the three aces one by one, each to showcase their individual dance skills.

Heeseung steps forward and begins dancing to 'Tamed Dash' by Enhypen. His movements are precise and energetic, his body fluidly expressing the rhythm of the music. His athleticism translates seamlessly to dance.

After he danced, breathing heavily, Mr. Jung spoke ''Heeseung, that was bad. Your footwork lacks control. Work on your transitions''. I was shocked by his comment because I saw that Heeseung actually did great. I felt a sudden rush of nervousness.

Sunghoon follows, showcasing his grace and precision, maybe he got from ice skating, as he dances to 'Dynamite' by BTS. His jumps and spins fill the room with a sense of awe. Sunghoon's ice skating precision gives him unparalleled grace, it was so good to watch.

Mr. Jung then shared his thoughts after seeing Sunghoon dance ''Sunghoon, your lines are okay, but your emotion needs to be more pronounced. I didn't come here to be stared at blankly.'' Quietness filled the room after hearing Mr. Jung's harsh criticism.

Jungwon takes the stage next, his martial arts background evident as he performs to 'Hit' by Seventeen. I saw his powerful movements and intense energy, it really captivated the room. I think his martial arts background has molded him into a powerful and disciplined dancer.

Mr. Jung then commented ''Your form needs refinement Jungwon, and you don't need to put energy to all the steps''.

After hearing Mr. Jung's words to the three known aces, I really didn't expect a better response from him. Suddenly I got startled by Mr. Jung's voice.

''I started with the so-called three aces, although accomplished, you moved like three beginner students'' My eyes widened after hearing such a harsh comment. Then after a long pause...

''Kim Sunoo" My heart dropped as I heard my name called by Mr. Jung. ''Y-yes... that's me...'' I said while breathing shakily.

"Are you new here?'' Mr. Jung asked me. "Y-Yes Sir" I responded.

"Okay, what's your song?" Mr. Jung asked once again, this time, with a hostile gaze.

"'U-Unforgiven' by Le Serrafim'' I said and the song played. Before the first word of the song came out, I breathed, centering and focusing myself, and smiled. As I was dancing I tried to control my energy, be precise, and have my emotions fit the lyrical meaning of the song.

As the music fades, I find myself breathless. Mr. Jung's gaze lingers on me. ''Sunoo..." My heart was beating like crazy as Mr. Hoon looked at me.

''You delivered a performance that is both powerful and poignant. Your passion and dedication are apparent. Sit, and observe the others'' I was taken aback by the nice comment I received, and also of the applause I heard from the other dancers, mainly from Chaewon and Garam. I felt so happy and motivated! I nodded in gratitude and took my seat, my heart swelling with a mixture of relief and pride.

The dance studio buzzes with anticipation as Mr. Jung continues to guide the dancers, Chaewon, Garam, Niki, and others, his discerning eye offering guidance and pushing them to reach new heights. I watched my fellow dancers with renewed inspiration.

Sunghoon's POV

Dancing to Dynamite, I was so focused on the dance steps and my energy that I didn't notice I had a blank face all that time. This was a bad first impression for Mr. Jung. I already knew that I was going to get scolded for my mistakes.

''Sunghoon, your lines are okay, but your emotion needs to be more pronounced. I didn't come here to be stared at blankly.'' Mr. Jung said. I nodded and took my seat. I looked down, full of embarrassment and disappointment, Heeseung and Jungwon patted my back to comfort me. It did nothing. I didn't know what was wrong with me, my coordination was lacking. I felt like I didn't deserve to be called an ''Ace''.

''Kim Sunoo..." Mr. Jung called out the new boy's name. I was intrigued to see how his dance would go after the three of us got criticized badly. I wonder if he'll meet Mr. Jung's standards. I watched him closely, ready to examine his movements.

"~Unforgiven, I'm a villain~'' I was surprised, not by the song, but by his facial expressions, he looked like he's genuinely feeling the song. As he continued dancing, I continued to be amazed and stuck to look at his expressions, they were somehow satisfying to watch.

''~Narang jeo neomeo gachi gaja my 'unforgiven girls'~'' The song stopped, I was still looking at Sunoo's face, he was smiling. But I realized that I was so focused on his face that I didn't get to watch his moves. Mr. Jung complimented his dance, I think he deserved it.
