Sunoo's POV

The sun had barely risen as I got ready for our school field trip. The excitement bubbled inside me, knowing that today would be an adventure filled with friends and new experiences. I double-checked my bag, making sure I had everything I needed for the day.

I was triple-checking my things because I was an overthinker when suddenly, the doorbell rang. I opened it to find Sunghoon standing there, a bright smile on his face. "Ready?" he asked.

I grinned back at him. "Absolutely."

He reached his hand out and we held hands walking to school together, the streets still quiet as we made our way. As we approached the school, the sight of students gathering outside confirmed that the field trip was a much-anticipated event. Among the crowd, I spotted Jungwon and Heeseung, chatting and laughing with others.

Niki, Jay, and Jake soon arrived, completing our group. We exchanged greetings and shared our excitement for the day ahead. As we were about to separate to different buses based on our classes, Sunghoon handed me the money for the trip payment. I thanked him and made my way to the bus with Niki and the girls.

Once on the bus, Niki and I settled into our seats together. He asked about the payment, "Sunghoon paid for your trip?"

"Yeah, he heard me talking to my family but mom and dad said they can give the money to me on Saturday, then Sunghoon offered to cover it." Niki nodded in admiration, recognizing Sunghoon's kind gesture.

The journey began, and Niki and I found ourselves sharing snacks and laughter as we played with his Nintendo on the bus. The hours flew by, and soon it was time for a break. The bus pulled over at a restaurant, and the students began to disembark.

As we gathered around a table with our friends, I noticed Jay was missing. My eyes scanned the area, and I spotted him sitting a bit away from the group. Gathering my courage, I approached him. "Jay," I called out, my voice a bit shaky.

He glanced up, his expression guarded. "Y-Yeah...?"

"P-Please join us on the table." I started, my heart racing.

After a moment of hesitation, Jay gave a small nod. "O-Okay."

I felt relief flood through me as Jay took a seat with our group. It wasn't easy to bridge the gap that had formed, but I was determined to mend our friendship.

We ate the different foods that the restaurant had to offer, they were absolutely delicious. Kimchi eggs, Chicken Porridge, Kimchi Stew, and many more.

After eating, we headed back to the bus, I leaned back in my seat, a content smile on my face. I looked around at my friends, knowing that this was a day we would remember for a long time. And we continued our way to Gyeonggi.

"30 minutes more!" Ms. Kim yelled and everybody cheered at the bus. I've never been more excited on a trip! Niki and I decided to sleep for a bit do that we'll have energy fooling around when we arrive.

"Everybody! Everybody! We've arrived!" Ms. Kim tapped on each of our seats. I felt the bus stop, I looked outside the window to see a big luxurious hotel. Niki and I went outside and I was greeted by the cool air here. We found the other boys and made our way in the hotel. The floor was shiny, the roof was shiny, the walls was shiny, everything's shiny!

After that, we made our way to our rooms, luckily we have our rooms facing each other. Sunghoon and I shared beds while Jake and Heeseung shared the other. We immediately changed and waited for the other boys to go down because we have to immediately go to our first destination, to Wolhwawon Garden. We did our tasks there, in which we will create a journal and the best journal will be featured in a newspaper for a contest against other schools.
