Sunoo's POV

As the booth event came to a close, the night sky enveloped us, and the announcement echoed that Heeseung and I were the "star sellers" of the festival, securing the highest earnings. The sense of accomplishment painted smiles on our faces as we headed back to my house, where my family awaited.

In the car, Heeseung was tightly squeezed between my sister and mom at the back. Their laughter filled the vehicle, and Heeseung couldn't help but smile along with them. It felt surreal, Heeseung, part of my family's joy, and our shared victory celebrating the happiness.

Once home, the excitement continued as we recounted our triumph. My sister insisted on taking pictures, capturing the glow of success on Heeseung's face. Mom, proud and beaming, kept showering us with compliments, making Heeseung blush.

Amidst the joyous chaos, Heeseung slipped away for a private conversation. "Want to celebrate with dinner outside?" he suggested, and before I could ask my mom for permission, she overheard and immediately granted it.

"That's a great idea dear! Sunoo and you deserve some celebration yourselves, we'll be fine here." She said and I thanked her.

I hurriedly changed into something more celebratory, my mind still with the events of the day. Heeseung and I ventured out, the night air cold and crisp and filled with the lingering excitement of the festival.

In the buzzing streets, soft lighting of the street lights created an intimate atmosphere as we walked to nowhere. Heeseung, wearing a celebratory smile, confessed, "I'm really glad we did this together, Sunoo. Winning with you feels... incredible."

I chuckled, touched by his sincerity. "I couldn't have asked for a better partner. Your cooking skills were the real MVP today."

Heeseung's eyes sparkled with gratitude. "Well, maybe my YouTube crash course paid off."

Our laughter harmonized with each other, "Hey no shit, I paid the premium version just to not be disturbed by the fucking ads."

"What?! Oh my god, you really have no patience!" I honestly couldn't believe it, I mean, who buys youtube premium just to not get disturbed? Well, Heeseung is rich so... It was a moment of sheer contentment, savoring not only the victory but the bond forged through shared goals and countless memories.

As we arrived at the restaurant, the ambiance was a gentle hum of soft music, clinking glasses, and the murmur of conversations creating a cozy backdrop. Heeseung and I, seated across from each other, delved into casual banter about the booth event, discussing the highs and lows with a shared sense of accomplishment.

Heeseung, ever the charismatic conversationalist, effortlessly steered our dialogue toward the details of the booth, how each dish was received, the quirky preferences of the customers, and the funny mishaps that had us in stitches.

As the evening progressed, our talk naturally took on a more intimate tone. Heeseung leaned in slightly, his eyes sparkling with a warmth that transcended the ambient lighting. "You know, Sunoo, I've been thinking. This booth experience brought us closer, don't you think?"

I nodded, acknowledging the newfound camaraderie. "Absolutely. I didn't expect it to be this fun and rewarding."

Heeseung chuckled softly, his gaze unwavering. "It's not just about the booth, though. It's about us. The way we work together, understand each other, it's remarkable."

I felt a subtle shift in the air, the conversation tiptoeing into uncharted territory. "Well, I guess we make a good team," I replied, attempting to keep it light.
