Sunoo's POV
I was at home, getting ready for the hospital, when Sunghoon and Heeseung arrived to pick me up. As I walked towards the car, my sister Soohee couldn't resist teasing me.
"Off to save lives, huh, Sunoo?" she said with a grin.
I rolled my eyes and huffed, "Maybe. Just helping out a friend."
Soohee chuckled as I got into the car. Heeseung was driving, Sunghoon was in the passenger seat, and I sat at the back. Heeseung expressed his gratitude, while still keeping his eyes on the road. "Thanks for doing this, guys. I know Jake would appreciate it."
Sunghoon nodded. "Of course, he's our friend too. We also want him to get better."
Once at the hospital, Sunghoon and I went together to have our blood tested. As I sat down in the chair, I closed my eyes, expecting a painful needle jab. But then I felt a gentle prick, and I was startled when the nurse told me it was over.
"O-Oh... It's that quick?" I asked, genuinely surprised.
The nurse smiled. "Yes, sir. it's pretty painless."
Then, a loud noise startled both me and my nurse and looked at the direction of where Sunghoon is, he let out a loud noise that made me jump.
"What was that?" I asked, trying to stifle my laughter.
Sunghoon tried to keep his cool, saying, "I-I just needed to warm up first."
I stood up from my seat, and I couldn't help but tease him, "Really? 'Cause it sounded like you were auditioning for a horror movie."
Then, Sunghoon suddenly developed a case of cold feet. He began making excuses, trying to resist the impending injection.
"You know, I'm not so sure if I should go through with this," he said, a hint of playfulness in his eyes.
I couldn't help but tease him again. "Come on, big man. You can't back out now. You promised to be Jake's savior."
Sunghoon couldn't resist being a bit cheesy. He looked at me with a grin and said, "Okay... well, after this, you'll have to kiss it to make it all better."
I couldn't help but chuckle at his theatrics, so I smacked his head and held his shoulders down.
I said to the nurse, "Please continue."
Sunghoon winced as the needle went in, his exaggerated display of pain making me roll my eyes. When it was finally over, he acted as if he were drained from the experience, which earned him another jest from me.
"You're being such a fricking drama queen," I teased, poking fun at his antics. Sunghoon just laughed, showing that he was taking everything in good humor.
As I reached for the door to leave the donation room, Sunghoon suddenly pulled me back.
"Hey, where's my kiss?" he asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
I chuckled, pushing his face away. "We need to get to Heeseung, remember?"
But Sunghoon was not one to be easily deterred. He grabbed my waist, pulling me closer, and before I knew it, he pressed his lips to mine. A rush of warmth flooded my face, and I couldn't help but blush.
Sunghoon smirked, teasing me, "See, that wasn't so bad, was it?"
I playfully brushed it off, "You got your kiss now, let's go back to Heeseung."
